5. Technical areas
CAMERAWORK: Creative use of camerawork, use of conventions mid-shots, close-ups, tracking shots,
panning etc. Effective use of composition, use of rule of thirds, leading male role on left hand side of
the sequences to connote significance.
EDITING: Mixture of soft and dramatic transitions. Begins with smooth and calming transitions in
opening sequences to generate a relaxing feeling in order to relate to genre of film, begins to
become more dramatic towards important scenes in order to have use of, AIDA promotional
technique: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action.
SOUND: Loud and clear use of dialogue between characters. Non diegetic music, in terms of
incidental music with sound bridges, music genre will be indie pop to relate to genre of film.
