This document describes the planets in traditional Chinese medicine and how they relate to different aspects of a person. The sun represents yang energy and how one energizes themselves, while the moon represents yin energy and how one relates to others. The five main planets are earth representing structure, wood representing inspiration, fire representing action, metal representing perception, and water representing thought and communication. Three additional transpersonal planets are Uranus representing qi, Neptune representing jing, and Pluto representing shen, which only activate through spiritual cultivation.
