1. Plan for filming our 2nd rough cut.
Due to weather conditions this week we may be unable to film a
second rough cut, unless we find somewhere relatively similar that is
dry. In order to do a rough cut this time we will need a hammer and a
fake gun. We aim to get a second viewing of the opening sequence
done and edited by the weekend, at the latest Monday. Everyone
needs to bring costumes and their own props. Chantelle will bring
the makeup needed, Elliott will bring his costume and the camera
and Shaun will bring his costume the fake blood. We need quite a few
shots to finish the opening sequence but as the deadline the next
Friday. Last time we didn’t have a hammer or a gun because we
didn’t bring them. We are now down to 3 people in the group as Craig
has dropped out of college. To improve from our last rough cut this
time we will improve lighting as originally we wanted it to be darker
and due to lack of time we had to leave it. When we edit our next
rough cut, we need to adjust the dialogue, because there is some
unwanted dialogue in the background. The dark lighting will help
improve the effectiveness of the actual piece and make it more like
what we had planned it out to be. The music on our rough cut done
by Elliott, actually fit to the piece perfectly, resulting on us not
needing to do much on it, if anything, maybe another piece of music
could be added to elongate it so it’s long enough for the full piece.
