any style or genre but it must be self-financed through sales
and advertising. You must also produce your magazine for a
specified audience segment within the 16-24 age groups.”
Unique Selling Point
The unique selling point of my magazine is a food magazine aimed for men, this is
different from other food magazines because they are all aimed at women. My
magazine is also aimed at university students, this is a good idea for my magazine
because it is a large audience and they fit into the age range.

IPSO - Golden Rules
Health and Safety Before I go on a location shooting I will go to do a recce, this checks if it is suitable for the shooting and it is safe to do the
shoot on. If it is not safe then I will not go there to take the pictures, so a recce is very important.
Copyright Copyright gives the owner of an image more protection and allows them to stay in control of their image, it allows them
to say who gets to use their image and who can’t. If I was going to use a image from the internet I will need to contact
the owner of the image and ask permission for me to use it in my magazine.
Trespass If I am doing a location shoot I must get the permission off the land owner to take pictures on their property and that I
am allowed to be on their property to take the pictures. If I do not get the permission off the land owner to be on their
land or property then it is a civil offence.
Accuracy (clause 1) When writing my articles I must make sure that everything is accurate because if something is not accurate then it
breaches clause 1 and people can complain to the IPSO.
Defamation When writing my article I must not write anything that can damage the reputation of an individual or an organisation.
