1. INTRODUCTION
The Juniors of the Philippine Science High School
(PSHS) would be hosting the Junior/Senior
Prom on February 4, 2012.
There’s a lot of excitement and enthusiasm as it
highlights the farewell of the seniors and their
turnover of responsibilities to the juniors.
Additionally, the prom is a venue to achieve the
following objectives with the acronym:

To fulfill a tradition of
subsidizing all
seniors, teachers, top officials
of PSHS and to subsidize in
whole or in part the juniors
who are financially less
fortunate;

To put
essence, substance and
meaning in the rituals
and the ceremonies to
be made during the
program;

5. B - Bonding
To enhance bonding and
camaraderie in a venue
set outside of the school
grounds;

6. C- Complement
To complement learning
experience with real life
application of
refinement, social
graces, proper etiquette
and decorum;

7. D – Develop
(2-2-3-3 combination)
To develop -
leadership and organizational skills among
the students
with adherence to
commitment and cooperation,
leading to
self-esteem, credibility and independence
anchored in the principles of
good morality, value-centeredness and
social responsibility.

8. Role of Parent Shadow Committee

• Helper
• Act as Stop Gap measure in cases
when the students will not be able
to handle the situation
(in order to do this, we have to look so we can see… I-C…)
• Interference is an option
• Coordination is a MUST

9. How can WE help?
• Money – to ₱und to ₱rom
– Php 2,000
– Extra (if in excess then turnover to PTA for next year)
• Resources and Contacts
– Corporate Sponsors which would cater to the youth (hygiene
products, Telecom, electronic products, etc)
– Direct Needs (Suppliers, photobooth, decors, invitations, etc)
• Support in Projects
– Fundraising activities (bake sale, garage sale, concert, etc)
• Volunteers as the need arises
– Logistics, decors, security, etc
• Prayers
– For success, less conflicts and the ability to overcome ALL pressures

10. PSHS

scholars and leaders in the field of science and
math.
