Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing program that allows users to create and edit images. Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing program.I used this to create my magazine and used a variety of different tools on Photoshop to create and edit my magazine.When creating my magazine, i had to use many different tools to get it the way i wanted it to look.Many of my images had background s that i didn't want any more, for example i took quite a few on a blue background and then used the magic wand and the magnetic tool to cut out the section i wanted from the image.

On my front cover and contents page I used the gradient tool to create an orange section on each of the pages and for some of the text I changed it so there was a white glow around the text so it was easier to see, there is many things you can change on text using Photoshop such as ‘bevel and embossing’ your text, putting a shadow on the text or changing the opacity of it, which is what I used on some of my images such as the images on my double page spread so that the images went more faded and you could see them as well I did this so I could use the images as backgrounds for those page.

4. You can also insert basic shaped onto your document this was another tool I used. On my front cover I used a thick black line to separate the top of the page from the image and other sections underneath, I also used it on my contents page as a background to the pictures I had put on.Another tool I used was the eraser tool, this was so that on some of my images were I had to get rid of the white/blue background I could neaten up the edges with his tool so that they looked neater and all of the blue/white colour had gone.

The main text that I used in my magazine was the text tool, there is many different fonts from the text tool and you can also create different sizes of fonts and change the direction it goes in.Another thing I did with the text tool was create the ‘Chica’ title on the front cover, I changed it so that the writing was stripy and had a different colour of the tights one ach letter.

6. These are just a few tools that I used in my the process of creating my magazine, but there are also many more on Photoshop.I feel like I'm getting better and better at Photoshop and it has been a very useful tool to have whilst creating my magazine.
