The client provided constructive feedback on the marketing scheme. They liked that the game would promote future endeavors in the Twine community and releasing near the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. However, the client felt the strategy lacked clarity and connection between elements. They advised expanding on Brazil's political issues, researching imagery more representative of Brazil, and linking all advertising. The client also suggested adapting the game company logo to better reflect Brazil.
Photography evaluation
The photographer evaluated their own photography from a recent shoot and compared it to professional photography. Their photography had limitations due to a cluttered and limited lighting shooting space. Some photos turned out blurry, under/overexposed, or from uninteresting angles. Photography feedback
- 1. Peer Photography Feedback In order to get different opinions on my photos, I asked three classmates for feedback on them, which returned a positive response overall but also suggestions for improvement. Feedback 1 The first classmate said that the photos were nicely composed and that the lighting after effects in Photoshop added to the photos nicely. They also commented that the props used added to the overall composition of the shot well. However, they commented that the images were too bright and that some of the effects added were quite disorienting. Also, that in comparison to the client, their photos seemed more natural and less edited. Feedback 2 The second classmate commented that I had filled out the photos wel to ensure that no space was wasted and that it provided them with something more to look at. They liked the use of natural light and the fact that it gave the picture a feeling like being at a gig. For improvements, they felt the edits could have been more experimental and that if I had taken more time over them, they would have been more balanced. Feedback 3 The third classmate liked the minimalism of the shots and the use of instruments. They also liked the source of lighting, especially with a film grain effect added. They felt for improvements, I could have shot at more angles and edited the photos more. From this feedback, I have learned that next time, I should try and shoot at more angles than straight on and try to manipulate lighting better. I have also learned that I should take more time over editing them in photoshop.
