This document discusses and analyzes several potential photographs that could be used for a selection process. The chosen photograph features a model not directly addressing the camera, in contrast to the direct gaze of the portrait in the background, creating visual conflict. The mise-en-scene uses red and yellow colors that suggest anger and conflict. This photograph was selected because it uses the contrasting gazes and symbolic colors to implicitly convey a sense of tension or unease.

2. I could have used this photograph because of the low angle of the
image it makes the model look bigger than she is, it also shows power
of the eye contact from the portrait in the back ground. Also the low
angle also captures a shot of the models defined jaw line.

the full body of the model and a lot of the mise en scene.
The mise en scene in t his image shows a sense of
seriousness also brightens the image through the red and
yellow in the portrait.These warm colours give off the
sense of danger and anger.

8. The reason why I chose this image is because of the lack of direct
address from the model and the direct address from the portrait, it
creates conflict to the image as well as the mise en scene of the red and
yellow colours which create anger and conflict.
