1. Philosophy
I believe that there is no single all-encompassing philosophy for the training of athletes for sports
rather it is best to individually evaluate and implement different training philosophies/techniques
based upon sport demands. I do believe that all sports must utilize ground based explosive
movements, posture building exercises and with an additional focus on iso-lateral movements to
aid in increasing ability of on court/field movements. My goal is build an optimal athlete through
building an environment where athletes are held to the highest expectations and nothing less is
accepted, and I feel we as coaches’ mentor and develop student athletes in both their sport and in
life.
Objectives
1. SPORT PERFORMANCE
Increase strength, speed, explosion, agility, flexibility, body composition, nutrition, and
conditioning athletes’ perspective sports.
2. PREVENTION
When an injury occurs a well-conditioned, well-trained athlete will recover from the injury and
spend less time limited in their participation. Healthy muscles and joints decrease the chances of
injury.
3. TOUGHNESS
To develop accountability, discipline, competitiveness, and a genuine commitment to the
program and its goals through strenuous training and belief in coaches.
4. CONFIDENCE
The ability to believe in yourself through the physical and mental gains you make through
training that provides the unwavering belief that one can compete
against anyone.
