This document discusses the phenomenon of phubbing, particularly in the context of boss-subordinate relationships, highlighting its prevalence and lack of study in organizational psychology. It proposes a research framework that incorporates affective event theory to better understand the implications of phubbing on employee behavior and well-being, emphasizing the need for further investigation in non-Western contexts like Pakistan.
