Inappropriate medicine use results in poor patient outcomes
and wastes significant amounts of
money and other resources. This problem is worldwide,
especially in developing countries like
Ethiopia. Data from health facilities may be used to evaluate
specific aspects of health provision
and drug use and to generate indicators that provide
information on prescribing habits,
dispensing practice and aspects of patient care.
