Cherie Petersen is a student at California State University, Fullerton pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science with a concentration in Cell and Developmental Biology. She has research experience developing cerebral organoids using induced pluripotent stem cells to study the effects of repetitive traumatic brain injury. She also has experience characterizing proteins involved in ovarian cancer and aortic aneurysms.
