The students at CEIP ALCALDE JOAQUÍN GARCÍA have been studying Rome and Romans. They have done many activities to learn about daily Roman life, including participating in a recreation of Roman children's games, studying the Roman calendar and army, drawing Roman soldier activities, and visiting two Roman settlements in Spain. The document also describes what Roman social classes were like, with rich patricians living in villas and poor plebeians in flats. Romans enjoyed leisure activities like gladiator fights and horse races, and children played with toys like rings and ropes. Mosaics were also discussed as something Romans created for floors and walls.
