Personal Leadership Profile Paper
When taking the two leadership surveys, it was interesting to see my personal leadership profile. My leadership style according to the survey is the
instructional type, which in another world is direct leadership. My culture, upbringing, and work environment have transformed me to be direct leaders
that are looking for stability. My staff members sadly do not have the opportunity to have a job that is autonomy; working in a manufacturing
occupation, one has an organize agenda that cannot be deviated from the task ahead. When team members are needing help or trying to build the
familiarity to run their equipment my personal leadership profile can be helpful, since being direct is a starting point to build knowledge. The more one
individual shows knowledge, familiar, and passionate for their own results, the further laissezā€“faire I will become when proving they...show more

The more information one has to understand leadership the further one will be able to go in one's career. Leadership is not easy, one has to have the
ability and buy in of the team to be successful in any project.
Conflict can be complex to understand when aggression happens in a group organization. When looking at group dynamics in any vocation, adaptive
conflict can be acceptable in a group. What is conflict, one would ask? Conflict is a disagreement with an individual, it can also be an argument with a
person. Disagreements in any workgroup can be effective or ineffective.
The conflict that is flexible and encourages creativity, innovation or openā€“mindedness can create a healthy work environment. The adaptive conflict
has the opportunity to challenge group thinking. It can push a dynamic group to create a different paradigm of a business. The further new thinking
one has, the more innovation the team can be. A system that has the ability to manage and encourage honorable conflict by discovering and opening
new doors can be career

Personality Profile : My Personality Essay
I have to admit that I was skeptical in completing the personality profile. I thought, "How could a few questions determine everything about my
management style". When I received my results, I was astonished at how accurately those results portrayed my personality. While deciding which of
my personality traits were advantageous and which were detrimental to my management style, I became conflicted as all of my scores can be portrayed
as both positive and negative depending on the situation.
I would classify my most advantageous trait to be scoring very low on the neuroticism scale. I have the ability to remain calm in the most stressful
situations. Most would believe the neuroticism would be a negative trait. The word neuroticism, taken from the word neurotic has a negative
connotation. Neuroticism is defined as being characterized as full of anxiety, fear, moodiness, worry, envy, frustration, loneliness and jealousy. I
personally scored very low on this personality trait. The low score would categorize me as very calm, secure, hardy, relaxed and stable. The spectrum
of these traits all lend to handling tense situations with a calm, collected even temperament. Performing managerial duties on a daily basis requires one
to be all of these traits and more.

My Personal Identity Essay
A person's identity is shaped by many different aspects. Family, culture, friends, personal interests and surrounding environments are all factors that
tend to help shape a person's identity. Some factors may have more of an influence than others and some may not have any influence at all. As a
person grows up in a family, they are influenced by many aspects of their life. Family and culture may influence a person's sense of responsibilities,
ethics and morals, tastes in music, humor and sports, and many other aspects of life. Friends and surrounding environments may influence a person's
taste in clothing, music, speech, and social activities. Personal interests are what truly set individuals apart. An individual is not a puppet...show more

Society has had a limited impact on my lifestyle, mostly because I despise trends. The largest trends I despise are rap and hipā€“hop and the clothing,
attitudes, and type of speech that that type of 'music' is breeding. I chose to steer away from that crowd, but it may also be because I live my life
off of adrenaline. My high on life is the energy I have when I get my blood pumping, my heart pounding, and my adrenaline raging. Most aspects
of my individuality reflect that very well. I love hard, aggressive music, and also guns, but my passion in life is extreme sports, whether it be on a
dirt bike, a bmx bike, a snowmobile, or a snowboard. I have a strong set of morals and ethics that I have partly adopted from my parents, but some
are also partly my own. My morals mostly consist of karma (being kind, caring, helpful, truthful, and considerate to others), not littering (especially in
nature), respecting nature, keeping a clean and welcoming home, success that is measured with happiness and not possessions, and having strong
family ties. I feel that I am very strongly rounded individual who is going to go far in life. Many people would agree with that, although some people
just think that I am an absolutely crazy person who has a death wish and will not go anywhere but to the hospital or the morgue. Educational
experiences also tend to influence a person's identity. I have not had too many educational

Personality Profile Reflection Paper
Organizational behavior studies human behavior and the impact individual attitudes and actions have on performance in the workplace. To provide a
personal perspective of personality characteristics, the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP) assessment was used to measure aspects of my
personality and how these traits relate to working with others and life within an organization. Key observations provide specific insight into how these
are applied to workplace behavior and interactions with others. Personal selfā€“reflection related to workplace behavior is offered, including lessons

Values and Attitudes Insights. Values highlight what we stand for and believe expressed through our attitudes guiding behavior, decision
ā€“making, and
action. Recognizing our values and how they are reflected in our attitudes provides the foundation needed to understand who we are and how we
make choices. Scoring 3 points related to power demonstrates a low importance while scoring 10 in Universalism demonstrates a higher developed
concern for others without regard to position or other allegiances. Combined with a positivity ratio of 8 (positivity tally of 8 divided by negativity
tally of 1), the expectancy theory can be used to predict behavior when choice of actions must be made (Kinicki & Fugate, 2016). Consequently, I am
hopeful my behavior clearly reflects my devotion and caring for others as witnessed in God's unconditional love.
Motivation Insights. Driven to public service, I identify with the high intrinsic motivation score of 27 and the correlation to Deci and Ryan's
selfā€“determination theory outlining a typical public employee's motivation through a sense of duty and reputation for service (Park, 2012, p. 708).
Research has focused on social factors that enhance intrinsic motivation finding psychological needs of autonomy, competence, and relatedness
contributing to selfā€“motivation (Ryan, 2000). Therefore, these needs relate directly to the measured high levels of autonomy motivation (27 pts.),
competence motivation (27 pts.),

Clash Of Cultures
There are a lot of people around Belmont University with different concepts, different goals, different experiences, different cultures, but most
important, different methods of thinking. When I realized that I would need to write a profile of someone else, I thought it would be the easiest essay
that I have ever done. Contrary to my expectations, I realized that to write someone else's profile is kind of hard, because it is not only a simple thing
such as just write the entire life of the person. A lot of stuff is behind the profile of a person. When I first thought about who I should interview, I was

The guy that I am talking about is Andrew Gordon Conner, who has born on august 8 1992, and he is the person that organize my hall, and needs to
maintain the organization, like a security, known here in the U.S as R.A. I knew that he was a different guy with a lot of experiences for me to know,
but actually he was way more than that.
Andrew was born at Bangkok, Thailand. At the time he told me that, I became so interest to know about theculture, and all the differences between
there and here. The most interesting thing about Andrew is that he has already lived in few different places and knows a lot of different cultures.
He lived there in Bangkok until his six years old, and he had a good life there. He was used to live in a property where his family was the only
white family in the whole building, what for me, I think it would be kind of scary, but according to him, it was kind of normal for him and his
parents. His dad was used to work for a company back in Bangkok that when Andrew was six, the company changed place to Arizona, United States.
With six years, he had already challenged the difficulties of change home to another country, and especially the big change of culture.
Andrew was lucky to move when he was only six, because whenever you have more then ten years and had already made a lot of friends, and had
already gone to school, it would be much harder to get used to

The plan was to write a profile that conveyed completely heartfelt honesty and insert it into some dating site if she could find one out of seemingly
hundreds, and try to get it done by the end of the evening before a change of mind. This entailed quite a bit of thought to say everything just right
without sounding pathetic or wanting which was not the case at all. Fifteen minutes later, nothing came out right so she opened up a search engine

Cooking is a passion. Sometimes I make time to go see a movie and sneak in candy inside my purse. I feel like a criminal but it is fun and by my
reasoning, paying $4.75 for the movie house drinks makes up for the crime. Besides, the box of candy looks just like theirs, same brand and
everything. I live in a resort town and I love to mingle in the crowds because it makes me feel less alone. I absorb the happy vibes and share my
own. Exchanging smiles when I get complimented on my looks lets me know I have assimilated into society successfully and have come into my
own as the female I have become. I'd much rather fit in than stand out. That said, I yearn to be held, wanted by a man having never tasted the lips of
one on mine, not even once. It would be sweet. I want to feel strong arms embrace me, dance with me because I love dancing but hate dancing
alone. I seek a lonely man, one who was married many wonderful years, or divorced when perfectly happy and doesn't really believe anyone will
come along to come close to being her replacement. Yet, he despises being alone so he reaches out one last time. That man hasn't made love in so
long that he has forgotten how, as well as had any urge. If I were to come into that man's life, I would not try to be a replacement. We would attempt to
grow close together, to learn about each other, share time with one another. He would let my happiness wash over him and cure him. And if after that

My Personal Profiles
There were various types of profiles and characteristics discussed in this section, such as exquisite sensitivity to the personal, group offense patrol,
slight trigger disease, and heavy into violence. Exquisite Sensitivity to the Personal (ESP) is when an individual is hypersensitive to advice,
confrontation, or questioning of behavior, another term for this type of person is the Perpetually Offended. One person that fits this profile is my
younger 17 year old brother. He has always been a very sensitive person overall, but most interactions to him are construed as an attack or a
challenge, for whatever reason. He is pretty rash in his decisions and is still trying to figure himself out as far as I can tell. I have learned from this

These type of people are very quick to anger and they view anger/violence as the answer to all problems. My mom gets very angry and defensive
when someone does not agree with her, and believes that fighting people will help them see her point of view. She has always been this way for as
long as I can remember, and used to talk about how she was a bully in middle/high school. It is very difficult to communicate to those with slight
trigger disease when they have to be "in your face". They know what intimidation tactics to use, and are quick to threaten or use violence to get
their point across. They might have learned this behavior from a parent or sibling and haven't learned the consequences for their destructive
behavior. Maybe this behavior makes them feel like they are in control, but in actuality they are like a volcano about to erupt. When one is around
this type of person they might feel like they are "walking on eggshells" as to not upset this person. This course asserts that the best way to respond
to this type of person is to avoid logical approaches. It is very difficult to get them to see someone else's point of view or change their mind. I have
never been able to directly confront my mom as I fear what the outcome would be. If she were a student of mine, however, and behaved like this there

My Personal Creative Thinking Profile
My personal creative thinking profile consists mainly of implementing and clarifying. Based on the "Tapping into Our Creative Thinking Skills to
Manage Complex Problems" my first and second preferences are implementer and clarifier, respectively. I have always been an implementer,
focused primarily on making moves in order to put ideas to work. I enjoy seeing the results of my plans in action. For example, as the president of
Global Brigades, a medical mission's organization, I spend less time talking about logistics of the mission and more time taking action to make
the mission a reality. When the rest of the executive board struggles to plan out details, I focus on making moves and taking it from there.
Therefore, I am quick to gear into action, in the hopes that I will learn as I go. I am also very persistent to make my plans a reality. When we
needed campus funding for our mission, I made sure I knocked on the dean's door at least a hundred times to get that funding. I delegated my
executive members to meet with all the administrators of our campus to state our case. Finally, my persistence and action oriented attitude, earned us
complete funding for our trip. As an implementer, I would often get annoyed when the executive board calls for meetings four to five times a week to
discuss the same issues and concerns they have discussed before. I would encourage the team to discuss an issue and solve the issue there and then, in
a single sitting. For example, we needed to

Allowing your mind to guide your pen without any inhibitions is a skill that is priceless to me as a student. The editing process allows for this free
writing without worry of format or grammatical accuracy. Writing is a release; it allows me to disperse my scattered thoughts into a coherent
reading for someone else to get a snapshot into my mind. Every individual's mind contains beliefs, views, feelings, and opinions that are otherwise
contained unless verbally released or done so in written form. Whether it is in a notebook, a diary, even through a thesis, writing allows the mind to
purge emotions and ideas onto paper for others to digest. I feel that being ashamed or embarrassed to display your writings can be a disservice to
others, as they may learn a valuable lesson from you or simply take comfort in that someone feels the same way they do. Reading the works of others
is eye opening to me as well. Open mindedness is a theory that I adopt first and foremost as I read. When I embark on reading a new book, first and
foremost I do not judge the book by its cover. "You HAVE to read this book," my Mom insisted as she set down a novel on my desk. The cover looked
bland and wasn't sparking any desire in me to open it. I let that book get buried under piles of junk as I packed my bags for college. As I arrived and

Assignment 1.1 Personal Power Profile
The assessment that I chose for this assignment was from the box 5.1 "Personal Power Profile." This assessment is composed of a list of
statements that describe possible behaviors of leaders in work organizations. The end results are based on the response for each item. For example,
strongly disagree is equal to 1 point, disagree is equal to 2 points, neither agree nor disagree is equal to 3 points, agree is equal to 4 points and
strongly agree is equal to 5 points. Consequently, I end up with more points on referent power 4.5, followed by legitimate power 4.0, and expert power
4.0.
Referent power is role model power. This type of power depends on feelings of affection, esteem, and respect for another individual. The benefits of

The amount of legitimate power someone has depends on the importance of the position she or he occupies and the willingness to grant authority to the
person in that position. The benefits of this type of power are that incorporates weight of the entire organization, effective for gaining obedience, helps
large organizations function effectively. The costs are that lowers follower task performance, lowers follower task satisfaction, and may become less
effective overtime.
Expert power is based on the person, not on the position. This type of power influences people because leaders supply needed information and skills.
What have you learned from completing this exercise? What I learned about this exercise is that I confirmed my leadership style. I like to practice what
I preach, as I do not expect others to do what I do not do. I treat others with respect and courtesy, all the time, no matter what! I think that honesty is
the best policy, so I like to keep my team inform, and I do not pretend to have all of the answers, I do apologize if I make a mistake. Gaining
followers trust is most important to me, so I always make sure that I communicate with them with valid/proven facts. However, I think that the
legitimate power comes into play when it's about "bossing" around people about their duties and

test's results summary begins with an illustration of the personality by explaining that an ENTJ would not have any interest in window seat on an

In modern business, it is important to have a mindset of sustainability and environmentally friendly business practices. Two fundamental characteristics
of an effective and sustainable leadership model are having the foresight of what the company is trying to attain and identifying the worth in the
process and supplying the leadership to reach the companies goals. Leadership begins with trusting in the process, and adhering to the steps
themselves. The single best way to achieve this is to lead by example. In this paper the author will explain how Marie Ziegler of John Deere help set

Marie recognized that the customers are the reason a company exists. As a good leader she understood that without customers, there is no need for
the products that John Deere provides. The product and the service that any company provides is a direct reflection of the dedication of a company,

company's values.
Strategy is what a leader uses to develop a set of actions to follow that supports long term visions, values and objectives (Desjardins, 2007). Strategy is
the crucial aspect for the integrated management system. There are key elements to developing the strategy that surrounds all the health, safety, and
environmental considerations required to fulfill the strategic plan. Included within this are the planning process, setting targets and objectives,
establishing and environmental policy that backs the vision of the company, contemplating which industry code of practices will be instituted, and
defining the framework for communication. When these aspects are combined, they create an environmental policy that states a company's base

Personal Leadership Profile Paper

  • 1. Personal Leadership Profile Paper When taking the two leadership surveys, it was interesting to see my personal leadership profile. My leadership style according to the survey is the instructional type, which in another world is direct leadership. My culture, upbringing, and work environment have transformed me to be direct leaders that are looking for stability. My staff members sadly do not have the opportunity to have a job that is autonomy; working in a manufacturing occupation, one has an organize agenda that cannot be deviated from the task ahead. When team members are needing help or trying to build the familiarity to run their equipment my personal leadership profile can be helpful, since being direct is a starting point to build knowledge. The more one individual shows knowledge, familiar, and passionate for their own results, the further laissezā€“faire I will become when proving they...show more content... The more information one has to understand leadership the further one will be able to go in one's career. Leadership is not easy, one has to have the ability and buy in of the team to be successful in any project. Conflict can be complex to understand when aggression happens in a group organization. When looking at group dynamics in any vocation, adaptive conflict can be acceptable in a group. What is conflict, one would ask? Conflict is a disagreement with an individual, it can also be an argument with a person. Disagreements in any workgroup can be effective or ineffective. The conflict that is flexible and encourages creativity, innovation or openā€“mindedness can create a healthy work environment. The adaptive conflict has the opportunity to challenge group thinking. It can push a dynamic group to create a different paradigm of a business. The further new thinking one has, the more innovation the team can be. A system that has the ability to manage and encourage honorable conflict by discovering and opening new doors can be career Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Personality Profile : My Personality Essay I have to admit that I was skeptical in completing the personality profile. I thought, "How could a few questions determine everything about my management style". When I received my results, I was astonished at how accurately those results portrayed my personality. While deciding which of my personality traits were advantageous and which were detrimental to my management style, I became conflicted as all of my scores can be portrayed as both positive and negative depending on the situation. I would classify my most advantageous trait to be scoring very low on the neuroticism scale. I have the ability to remain calm in the most stressful situations. Most would believe the neuroticism would be a negative trait. The word neuroticism, taken from the word neurotic has a negative connotation. Neuroticism is defined as being characterized as full of anxiety, fear, moodiness, worry, envy, frustration, loneliness and jealousy. I personally scored very low on this personality trait. The low score would categorize me as very calm, secure, hardy, relaxed and stable. The spectrum of these traits all lend to handling tense situations with a calm, collected even temperament. Performing managerial duties on a daily basis requires one to be all of these traits and more. Imagine a business full of employees who would like to strike or walk out due to the fact of the mother company has cancelled several of their benefits or an employee who has had multiple issue with work, home Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Personal Identity Essay A person's identity is shaped by many different aspects. Family, culture, friends, personal interests and surrounding environments are all factors that tend to help shape a person's identity. Some factors may have more of an influence than others and some may not have any influence at all. As a person grows up in a family, they are influenced by many aspects of their life. Family and culture may influence a person's sense of responsibilities, ethics and morals, tastes in music, humor and sports, and many other aspects of life. Friends and surrounding environments may influence a person's taste in clothing, music, speech, and social activities. Personal interests are what truly set individuals apart. An individual is not a puppet...show more content... Society has had a limited impact on my lifestyle, mostly because I despise trends. The largest trends I despise are rap and hipā€“hop and the clothing, attitudes, and type of speech that that type of 'music' is breeding. I chose to steer away from that crowd, but it may also be because I live my life off of adrenaline. My high on life is the energy I have when I get my blood pumping, my heart pounding, and my adrenaline raging. Most aspects of my individuality reflect that very well. I love hard, aggressive music, and also guns, but my passion in life is extreme sports, whether it be on a dirt bike, a bmx bike, a snowmobile, or a snowboard. I have a strong set of morals and ethics that I have partly adopted from my parents, but some are also partly my own. My morals mostly consist of karma (being kind, caring, helpful, truthful, and considerate to others), not littering (especially in nature), respecting nature, keeping a clean and welcoming home, success that is measured with happiness and not possessions, and having strong family ties. I feel that I am very strongly rounded individual who is going to go far in life. Many people would agree with that, although some people just think that I am an absolutely crazy person who has a death wish and will not go anywhere but to the hospital or the morgue. Educational experiences also tend to influence a person's identity. I have not had too many educational Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Personality Profile Reflection Paper Organizational behavior studies human behavior and the impact individual attitudes and actions have on performance in the workplace. To provide a personal perspective of personality characteristics, the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP) assessment was used to measure aspects of my personality and how these traits relate to working with others and life within an organization. Key observations provide specific insight into how these are applied to workplace behavior and interactions with others. Personal selfā€“reflection related to workplace behavior is offered, including lessons learned to assist in becoming a better employee, coworker, and/or manager, and how the Holy Spirit has assisted in transforming weaknesses into...show more content... Values and Attitudes Insights. Values highlight what we stand for and believe expressed through our attitudes guiding behavior, decision ā€“making, and action. Recognizing our values and how they are reflected in our attitudes provides the foundation needed to understand who we are and how we make choices. Scoring 3 points related to power demonstrates a low importance while scoring 10 in Universalism demonstrates a higher developed concern for others without regard to position or other allegiances. Combined with a positivity ratio of 8 (positivity tally of 8 divided by negativity tally of 1), the expectancy theory can be used to predict behavior when choice of actions must be made (Kinicki & Fugate, 2016). Consequently, I am hopeful my behavior clearly reflects my devotion and caring for others as witnessed in God's unconditional love. Motivation Insights. Driven to public service, I identify with the high intrinsic motivation score of 27 and the correlation to Deci and Ryan's selfā€“determination theory outlining a typical public employee's motivation through a sense of duty and reputation for service (Park, 2012, p. 708). Research has focused on social factors that enhance intrinsic motivation finding psychological needs of autonomy, competence, and relatedness contributing to selfā€“motivation (Ryan, 2000). Therefore, these needs relate directly to the measured high levels of autonomy motivation (27 pts.), competence motivation (27 pts.), Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Essay on Profile of a Person Raphael Colmanette 1 Dr.McDonough 10/16 First Year Writing Clash Of Cultures There are a lot of people around Belmont University with different concepts, different goals, different experiences, different cultures, but most important, different methods of thinking. When I realized that I would need to write a profile of someone else, I thought it would be the easiest essay that I have ever done. Contrary to my expectations, I realized that to write someone else's profile is kind of hard, because it is not only a simple thing such as just write the entire life of the person. A lot of stuff is behind the profile of a person. When I first thought about who I should interview, I was kind of lost, because I do not know a lot of people...show more content... The guy that I am talking about is Andrew Gordon Conner, who has born on august 8 1992, and he is the person that organize my hall, and needs to maintain the organization, like a security, known here in the U.S as R.A. I knew that he was a different guy with a lot of experiences for me to know, but actually he was way more than that. Andrew was born at Bangkok, Thailand. At the time he told me that, I became so interest to know about theculture, and all the differences between there and here. The most interesting thing about Andrew is that he has already lived in few different places and knows a lot of different cultures. He lived there in Bangkok until his six years old, and he had a good life there. He was used to live in a property where his family was the only white family in the whole building, what for me, I think it would be kind of scary, but according to him, it was kind of normal for him and his parents. His dad was used to work for a company back in Bangkok that when Andrew was six, the company changed place to Arizona, United States. With six years, he had already challenged the difficulties of change home to another country, and especially the big change of culture. Andrew was lucky to move when he was only six, because whenever you have more then ten years and had already made a lot of friends, and had already gone to school, it would be much harder to get used to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay Profile The plan was to write a profile that conveyed completely heartfelt honesty and insert it into some dating site if she could find one out of seemingly hundreds, and try to get it done by the end of the evening before a change of mind. This entailed quite a bit of thought to say everything just right without sounding pathetic or wanting which was not the case at all. Fifteen minutes later, nothing came out right so she opened up a search engine instead to choose out a dating site and soon found out how many different flavors there are of them. The idea is to choose a service that closely matches exactly what it is that any person is looking for in a relationship. I feel like a criminal but it is fun and by my reasoning, paying $4.75 for the movie house drinks makes up for the crime. Besides, the box of candy looks just like theirs, same brand and everything. I live in a resort town and I love to mingle in the crowds because it makes me feel less alone. I absorb the happy vibes and share my own. Exchanging smiles when I get complimented on my looks lets me know I have assimilated into society successfully and have come into my own as the female I have become. I'd much rather fit in than stand out. That said, I yearn to be held, wanted by a man having never tasted the lips of one on mine, not even once. It would be sweet. I want to feel strong arms embrace me, dance with me because I love dancing but hate dancing alone. I seek a lonely man, one who was married many wonderful years, or divorced when perfectly happy and doesn't really believe anyone will come along to come close to being her replacement. Yet, he despises being alone so he reaches out one last time. That man hasn't made love in so long that he has forgotten how, as well as had any urge. If I were to come into that man's life, I would not try to be a replacement. We would attempt to grow close together, to learn about each other, share time with one another. He would let my happiness wash over him and cure him. And if after that he ultimately felt Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 8. My Personal Profiles There were various types of profiles and characteristics discussed in this section, such as exquisite sensitivity to the personal, group offense patrol, slight trigger disease, and heavy into violence. Exquisite Sensitivity to the Personal (ESP) is when an individual is hypersensitive to advice, confrontation, or questioning of behavior, another term for this type of person is the Perpetually Offended. One person that fits this profile is my younger 17 year old brother. He has always been a very sensitive person overall, but most interactions to him are construed as an attack or a challenge, for whatever reason. He is pretty rash in his decisions and is still trying to figure himself out as far as I can tell. I have learned from this course...show more content... These type of people are very quick to anger and they view anger/violence as the answer to all problems. My mom gets very angry and defensive when someone does not agree with her, and believes that fighting people will help them see her point of view. She has always been this way for as long as I can remember, and used to talk about how she was a bully in middle/high school. It is very difficult to communicate to those with slight trigger disease when they have to be "in your face". They know what intimidation tactics to use, and are quick to threaten or use violence to get their point across. They might have learned this behavior from a parent or sibling and haven't learned the consequences for their destructive behavior. Maybe this behavior makes them feel like they are in control, but in actuality they are like a volcano about to erupt. When one is around this type of person they might feel like they are "walking on eggshells" as to not upset this person. This course asserts that the best way to respond to this type of person is to avoid logical approaches. It is very difficult to get them to see someone else's point of view or change their mind. I have never been able to directly confront my mom as I fear what the outcome would be. If she were a student of mine, however, and behaved like this there would be consequences for certain Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Based on the "Tapping into Our Creative Thinking Skills to Manage Complex Problems" my first and second preferences are implementer and clarifier, respectively. I have always been an implementer, focused primarily on making moves in order to put ideas to work. I enjoy seeing the results of my plans in action. For example, as the president of Global Brigades, a medical mission's organization, I spend less time talking about logistics of the mission and more time taking action to make the mission a reality. When the rest of the executive board struggles to plan out details, I focus on making moves and taking it from there. Therefore, I am quick to gear into action, in the hopes that I will learn as I go. I am also very persistent to make my plans a reality. When we needed campus funding for our mission, I made sure I knocked on the dean's door at least a hundred times to get that funding. I delegated my executive members to meet with all the administrators of our campus to state our case. Finally, my persistence and action oriented attitude, earned us complete funding for our trip. As an implementer, I would often get annoyed when the executive board calls for meetings four to five times a week to discuss the same issues and concerns they have discussed before. I would encourage the team to discuss an issue and solve the issue there and then, in a single sitting. For example, we needed to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

All of these qualities come forth prominently through being a student. Life is a journey of learning, I believe in being a student throughout life and I will take a front row seat. Through being a student, I've learned not only about the concepts at hand, however about myself as well. To perform optimally, one must discover what motivates them. The editing process allows for this free writing without worry of format or grammatical accuracy. Writing is a release; it allows me to disperse my scattered thoughts into a coherent reading for someone else to get a snapshot into my mind. Every individual's mind contains beliefs, views, feelings, and opinions that are otherwise contained unless verbally released or done so in written form. Whether it is in a notebook, a diary, even through a thesis, writing allows the mind to purge emotions and ideas onto paper for others to digest. I feel that being ashamed or embarrassed to display your writings can be a disservice to others, as they may learn a valuable lesson from you or simply take comfort in that someone feels the same way they do. Reading the works of others is eye opening to me as well. Open mindedness is a theory that I adopt first and foremost as I read. When I embark on reading a new book, first and foremost I do not judge the book by its cover. "You HAVE to read this book," my Mom insisted as she set down a novel on my desk. The cover looked bland and wasn't sparking any desire in me to open it. I let that book get buried under piles of junk as I packed my bags for college. As I arrived and unpacked, I found the book crushed under some clothes with the cover peeled back and creased Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Personality Profile Paper In doing my personality profile project, I learned new things, confirmed known things, and disagree with some information about myself. I will take this time to compare and contrast my new found information. I did not hear of a Jung Typology test before now. The one that I chose was Human metrics. The test showed that my personality was INFJ. Which, when I break it down it's, Introvert (22%), which is a shy person who finds it hard to talk to others. intuitive (38%), which means that I understand things without any proof or evidence, also characterized by intuition, and agreeing with what seems naturally right. • 12. Assignment 1.1 Personal Power Profile The assessment that I chose for this assignment was from the box 5.1 "Personal Power Profile." This assessment is composed of a list of statements that describe possible behaviors of leaders in work organizations. The end results are based on the response for each item. For example, strongly disagree is equal to 1 point, disagree is equal to 2 points, neither agree nor disagree is equal to 3 points, agree is equal to 4 points and strongly agree is equal to 5 points. Consequently, I end up with more points on referent power 4.5, followed by legitimate power 4.0, and expert power 4.0. Referent power is role model power. This type of power depends on feelings of affection, esteem, and respect for another individual. The benefits of this type...show more content... The amount of legitimate power someone has depends on the importance of the position she or he occupies and the willingness to grant authority to the person in that position. The benefits of this type of power are that incorporates weight of the entire organization, effective for gaining obedience, helps large organizations function effectively. The costs are that lowers follower task performance, lowers follower task satisfaction, and may become less effective overtime. Expert power is based on the person, not on the position. This type of power influences people because leaders supply needed information and skills. What have you learned from completing this exercise? What I learned about this exercise is that I confirmed my leadership style. I like to practice what I preach, as I do not expect others to do what I do not do. I treat others with respect and courtesy, all the time, no matter what! I think that honesty is the best policy, so I like to keep my team inform, and I do not pretend to have all of the answers, I do apologize if I make a mistake. Gaining followers trust is most important to me, so I always make sure that I communicate with them with valid/proven facts. However, I think that the legitimate power comes into play when it's about "bossing" around people about their duties and Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Upon flinging open the door, his face lifted of his desk and stared at me with a distant expression. My first take of Brian caught me off guard, with his apple red mohawk, wearing his branded castle racing jacket and pants. Looking at his appearance you just knew he was into racing. After building up the confidence to murmur good morning we left his office to his own personal race track he made at his house. "There is more to just sitting down on a vehicle and holding down the throttle. If it was that easy everyone would do it." For Brian racing has come at a cost and has been through adversity on and off the track. Racing was always there for Brian. The Myers Briggs personality test's results summary begins with an illustration of the personality by explaining that an ENTJ would not have any interest in window seat on an airplane because they cannot control what they see. In contrast to the illustration, I always enjoy the window seat simply for the scenery. Next, the summary begins by stating people with this personality makeā€“up have a tendency to marshal and direct. Though I may have examples of having this tendency, I don't think it accurately sums up my personality. • 16. My Personal Success Profile How do you think your personality is? Is it good, or is it bad? You may not know right now but I know how mine is with the success profile I have done twice already this year. You can really see the difference between the two. Some of the reasons behind this is because of JROTC, High school and my friends. The first success profiler I did had all the scores with my personality in the middle. Since I just started JROTC that was the usual score. Then I started working hard in JROTC I did activities and learned the creed. The creed helped me learn respect for myself and others and most importantly how to treat everyone in the school. Also with JROTC I have been taught many ways to keep my anger on a shelf and to not show my anger. My second success Get more content on HelpWriting.net

As babies we communicate through sign language. Our hands go out to pick a baby up, the baby soon learns that this language of communication gets results. Crying is another form of attention. As babies age they also learn to talk. They soon learn that saying the correct words along with body language, gets them what they want. Personality Profile Essay Personality Profile MGT/360 Personality Profile In modern business, it is important to have a mindset of sustainability and environmentally friendly business practices. Two fundamental characteristics of an effective and sustainable leadership model are having the foresight of what the company is trying to attain and identifying the worth in the process and supplying the leadership to reach the companies goals. Leadership begins with trusting in the process, and adhering to the steps themselves. The single best way to achieve this is to lead by example. The product and the service that any company provides is a direct reflection of the dedication of a company, its values and its employees. The conduct of a business from the president and CEO all the way down to the staff on the sales floor reflects a company's values. Strategy is what a leader uses to develop a set of actions to follow that supports long term visions, values and objectives (Desjardins, 2007). Strategy is the crucial aspect for the integrated management system. There are key elements to developing the strategy that surrounds all the health, safety, and environmental considerations required to fulfill the strategic plan. Included within this are the planning process, setting targets and objectives, establishing and environmental policy that backs the vision of the company, contemplating which industry code of practices will be instituted, and defining the framework for communication.
