there is a way.” With strong personal
development skill, you develop the
necessary will. The most successful
people have one thing common in them

motivate and empower themselves with
the right beliefs and thoughts.
 Empowerment :One of the most
important and key benefits of
personal development is claiming
back to your empowerment.

natural creative selves to perform

achieve your highest potential

and manage it in a variety of
situations.
How to improve your personal development skills

are afraid of public speaking, for instance, take a class or join a group that helps
people become better public speakers.
2. Read. Reading can expand your knowledge and vocabulary and keep you informed.
It can also stimulate your mind and can improve your critical thinking skills. Try setting a
goal to read at least one educational or motivational article a day, or one book a month.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SKILLS IN
THE WORKPLACE
 Be an active listener.
 Organize your time, work
and materials
 Believe in yourself.
 Be committed to and
passionate about your job.
 Honesty.
Creating a personal development plan is not particularly complicated, although it
will require a few specific steps.
We have outlined these below
 Vision
 Determine the Necessary Skills
 Identify the Starting Position
 Start with Just One Skill
 Set Deadlines
 VISION : Begin the planning with an idea of what
you want to achieve. What is the ultimate goal of
the plan?
 Determine the Necessary Skills : it is necessary
to determine what skills are necessary to achieve
that ultimate goal.
 Identify the Starting Position : Once you have an
idea of what skills are necessary to achieve a
particular goal or outcome, it’s necessary to
determine where to start from in terms of existing
skills, aptitudes, and capabilities.
 Start with Just One Skill : It is tempting to begin
the journey by focusing on developing several
skills at once instead, identify one core skill and
focus on mastering that one then move on to
another.
 Set Deadlines :A personal development plan is all
well and good but without deadlines, there may be
no impetus to move forward. In some situations,
that is fine, such as when you must master
complex ideas or complicated skill combinations.
However, even in these situations, some form of
time constraint helps encourage you to keep
moving. It creates tension or a sense of urgency
that helps you prioritize learning and development.
QUESTIONS
 AM I MAXIMIZING MY TALENT ?
 DO I LET MY MISTAKES DEFINE ME ?
 DO I LOVE WHAT I DO?
 WHO’S LIFE AM I LIVING?
