Permanent / Web analyst/Data Scientist

We are currently looking for a web analyst to join a great start-up retail platform in west London with
major European expansion plans for 2013. They are well known in the retail space and are always
working to develop and improve key areas of the business. The Web Analyst is a new position due to
growth, looking for someone to provide analytics and to evangelise the use of data within the
business.
As web Analyst you will work closely with the product team in place in the business and strive to
improve the customer experience through analytics and Data Science.


Main Responsibilities

       Provide commentary and recommendations to the senior team and other departments to
        support the core dashboards and business as usual reports
       Create reports to support the business as required, such as the tracking of key business
        projects
       Provide input to define and implement the appropriate analytics to be tracked and ensure GA
        has been set up effectively across the business.
       Carry out regular audits to ensure that code changes have not thrown out tagging
       Support the Consumer Product Manager on analysing and reporting results from A/B and
        MVT campaigns
       Discover the analytics requirements for key stakeholders within the company and agree what
        information is needed and when
       Design dashboards to be made easily available to the owners, COO/CMO, partner and
        consumer teams and other colleagues showing the key agreed information.



Experience

       Good understanding of e-commerce environments
       Highly experienced in using and communicating with Microsoft Excel
       Experienced with Google analytics
       In depth experience of interrogating large databases and manipulating output (e.g. SQL)
       Experience of running and reporting on MVT
       Relevant degree preferable (Science / Maths / Computer Science )
