Idea Development
You have some very good ideas that are fully
thought out and developed. However, the 4th
paragraph threw me for a loop, because you
went from discussing your ideas through your
own life experience to giving an informative
statement with quotations. I believe this
paragraph opened the door for your prefered
orientation, I just wish you would have spent
more time developing that idea. I believe that
all of your essay was based on sound
assumptions of your own ideas and personal
beliefs.

I really enjoyed your essay, because all of
your examples had to do with your real life
experiences. Your essay is conveying,
because your philosophy of education is based
on what you lived through. Personal essays
are usually the most memorable.

Quality of Writing
Your writing is clear/understandable and
through this you are able to get your purpose
across. In no way am I a grammatical wiz, but
it did seem like there were a lot of run-on
sentences throughout the essay. Some
sentences were just a tad too long, and I had
to re-read them in order to fully understand
what you were saying.

Additional Comments; I thoroughly enjoyed
reading your essay, and discovering how your
personal experiences/battles shaped what kind
of teacher you are going to be in a near future.
I am very relieved that there is going to be a
person like you shaping the future of our
society.
