What is PDHPE?
PDHPE Stands for Personal Development, Health and Physical
Education.

According to the Syllabus:
  “PDHPE, encourages students to make informed decisions
 related to health and physical activity and develop positive
             attitudes towards a healthy lifestyle”


As a PDHPE teacher it is a rewarding experience to know that
you are setting the foundations for these children to lead
healthy and active lifestyles for their future.

  setting where they can work both
  individually and as a team
Important Topics!
ď‚›   PDHPE educates students of important topics
    such as:

•   Road Safety
•   Peers, groups and families
•   Communication
Promotes Physical Activity
ď‚› Studies show that 30 minutes out of
  everyday need to be set aside for
  physical activity. Having PDHPE in schools
  ensures that students are engaging in
  physical activity and this builds a habit for
  them to hold onto in the future
ď‚› PDHPE promotes play and is a good way
  to wind down after a long lesson. Other
  KLA’s can be used within the PDHPE
  curriculum.
