PDHPE in primary schools allows children to build skills, values and attitudes for a healthy lifestyle by developing communication, decision making, interaction, movement, and problem solving abilities. It benefits students mentally through identity, self-esteem and attitudes, physically through motor skills and growth, and socially through teamwork, cooperation and relationships. PDHPE teaches the importance of nutrition, hygiene, various movements like dance and gymnastics, games, sports, and maintaining personal wellbeing and safe living in the community.
