17. A calculator is available to calculate partial point values. For partial point redemption, the full cost of the booking will be charged and added in the amount to be charged under ‘ Payment Details ’ . When a new point value is entered into the calculator, the conversion-to-dollar amount will be displayed. This is the amount your customer’s credit card will be ‘credited’ in exchange for the point redemption.
18. Once a payment has been processed, a status will be returned. Below is a copy of an ‘ Approved ’ response for Partial Payment with Points. It recaps the amount of points redeemed and the credit amount it equals. Also reflected is the total cost of the trip charged to your customer’s card, and the final cost after the point credit is applied.
