Editor's Notes

  • #2 Business drivers. About Accenture. Live demo of A3 (main portion). Results. Governance.
  • #6 Our business driver in a nutshell: we are a people organization; it’s critical that our people are sharing their knowledge and learning from each other; As a professional services organization, our primary asset is our diverse workforce of 280,000 knowledge workers across a global network that spans 56 countries. As such, it is critical that we foster the development of our employees’ skills and help them increase their knowledge. The nature of our business and its strategic objectives require it, as our people and their skills are our business. We approach learning at Accenture by applying a continuous learning model that focuses on “time away for learning and learning all the time”, combining three aspects of learning:Formal learning – includes traditional classroom-based training, virtual instructor-led training, and computer-based training.Social learning – focuses on the collaboration element of connecting with and learning from peers and experts, both through formal communities of practice and informal networking where employees share their insights, experience and knowledge with each other.On-the-job learning – learning that takes place naturally during the normal working day.
