1. FABRICATION AND TESTING OF SENCOND STAGE OF A MULTI STAGE SOLID
ROCKET WITH PAYLOAD RECOVERY
Description:
Building successful model rocket is a step by step process with several
different faces. Using design sample we can construct a model multi stage
rockets which consist of couple of stages that has to be fabricated by means
of using different materials. The building of a rocket continues to have a
major task of payload recovery. After the sustainer stage of solid rocket, has
fired. It requires high sophisticated techniques through which the rockets
sustainer stage would deploy the payload at a certain height and the
parachute will be deployed on to it to recover the payload.

2. 2. DEESIGN OF LUNAR LANDING GEAR
Software: UG NX-5.0
Description:
We proposed a method of design of lunar landing gear which is only
suitable for preliminary design, particularly when the design have a clear
conception of the dimensions or the detailed layout of the landing gear
structure. The conceptual design of the landing gear is designed and
optimized theoretically with rigorous structural analysis. The design is
developed using a command language NX-5.0. The results are compared
with the early lunar landing gear module Apollo11 and the advantages are
pointed out.
JOB PROFILE:
RESPONSIBILITIES CARRIED OUT:
• Tip clearance for H.P and L.P Compressor Blades through DTI check.
• Concentricity (C.C) checks for both L.P and H.P Stator Vanes.
• W-Dimension and D-Dimension for L.P and H.P Turbine.
• Mass Moment and Segregation of all L.P and H.P Compressor and Turbine
blades.
• Concentricity check for L.P and H.P N.G.V’S (Nozzle Guide Vanes)
• All the Rotor bodies in the engine are carried into Balancing for Vibration
check i.e. Mo1, Mo4, Mo6, Mo8, Stub Shaft and L.P shaft.
• Flow check, Spacer selection and Back Clash checks are done during the
Assembly of Gear Box.
• Complete Assembly of Adour Mk811, 804E Engines.
• Boroscopic checks in Hot end and Cold end section of engine
• Spacer selection for L.P and H.P N.G.V’S, is to adjust the clearance between
the rotor and stator parts, before Assembly of complete engine.
• An Overall check is done before the Dispatch of every Engine.
