Danny Ocean started planning a big theft of Terry Benedict's casinos while in prison to get revenge on Benedict for stealing his ex-wife. Ocean recruited a crew of 11 professionals, including Frank as his right-hand man and Rusty. They chose the night of a big boxing match to carry out the theft when Benedict would be distracted. Everything went according to their plan - they were able to watch the security cameras, steal passwords, cut the power, blow open the vault door, and steal $150 million before dressing as SWAT and escaping successfully. Benedict realized the thieves were Ocean and his crew only after the successful theft.

3. I, Daniel Ocean, hereby admit and accept all the claims on me about the big
theft. I am ready to confess...
I started planning this big theft while I was in prison. I just wanted to take my
revenge on Terry Benedict, the big boss of three Las Vegas casinos! The reason
was obvious: he had stolen my ex-wife. After I had found my old friend, Frank, he
helped me find my right-hand man Rusty. Once we found each other, the rest
was a piece of cake. We thought about the crew which would consist of eleven
people for the big theft. Other than the professionals, we knew we would need a
little money. So Reuben, the biggest enemy of Benedict, accepted being our cash
in hand. Our crew were real professionals in their jobs; a blackjack dealer, two
car enthusiasts, an electrician, a circus acrobat, a retired genius and a highly
skilled pickpocket and etc. We chose the night of the big boxing match during
which Benedict would be busy watching the match. But before that night we had
looked round the casino in detail and set up a system which enabled us to watch
their security camera system. The pickpocket Linus’ mission was to steal the
passwords, of course. When he stole the passwords, our circus acrobat had gone
into the vault. By the way, our electrician was busy cutting off the power. When
he cut off the electricity, I started going downwards in the elevator shaft with
Linus. As soon as we reached the door, we blew up the door with the help of our
acrobat who had already gone into the vault. Then, it was time to pack the
money. While we were packing the money, Rusty called Benedict and played his
part. Benedict neither accepted our offer nor wanted to share the money. So
with a big success, dressed up like SWATS, we stole the whole money. I guess
Benedict realised who the real thieves had been. Everything went just as we had
planned. I not only got my revenge but also my wife, of course with 150 million
dollars...
