This document discusses how genetic traits are passed down from parents to children. It notes that DNA contains the genetic code that is inherited and looks at examples of physical traits like earlobes, the ability to roll one's tongue, dimples, eyelid structure, handedness, eye and hair color, and hair texture that may be passed from one generation to the next based on genetics. Examples of both similar and differing traits in two families are provided to demonstrate genetic inheritance of characteristics.
