All Christians are "sent-out" by the Lord Jesus Christ to be on mission with him to bring the gospel to wherever God is leading us. We need to work together for this. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1Ux
We have finally come to our eternal home in the last two chapters of the Bible. What a way to end! What a future for those who "drink of the water" (22:17) by trusting in Jesus Christ, the focal point of the book of Revelation and the entire Bible. The Facts of Christ’s Humanity it covers the:
Reason for the Incarnation of Jesus Christ
His Virgin Birth
His Nature
His Human Nature
His Divine Nature
This document discusses four key facts about Jesus that can be used to tell others about Him. 1) Jesus was fully human. He was born in history and had human experiences. 2) Jesus was more than a great teacher as He did miraculous things that only God can do and said things that only God can say. 3) Jesus overcame death by dying on the cross and rising from the tomb three days later, as witnessed by many. 4) Sharing one's own personal experience of how knowing Jesus has changed their life can help others understand who He is.
Sin originated with Satan's rebellion and humanity's fall. Sin is any failure to obey God's moral law through actions, attitudes, or nature. All people are deeply infected by sin, separating them from God and subjecting them to a cursed existence characterized by a sinful nature and death.

The document discusses biblical prophecies about the end times from books such as Daniel and Revelation. It analyzes prophecies about four kingdoms that would rule Israel and the world, culminating in a final world kingdom. It asserts that current global events like wars and rumors of wars match Jesus' description of signs that precede his second coming. The document aims to show that biblical prophecy provides confidence about what will happen in the end times.
This week we looked at several verses that were associated with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In this weeks teaching I compressed them all into one single powerpoint for your convenience. Over the next few weeks I will be taking you through Genesis Chapter One and the Creation Week. So fasten your seat belts cause on Monday we are starting right at the beginning with Genesis 1:1.
The document discusses the significance of Jesus Christ's crucifixion on the cross. It explains that though crucifixion was the worst form of execution, Jesus chose it to demonstrate his great love for humanity. As a sinless man, Jesus took the punishment for mankind's sins by dying on the cross. His death and resurrection bring forgiveness of sins and hope to all who believe in the gospel message that Christ died for our sins. The cross represents the greatest event in history and the means by which people can be reconciled to God.

The document provides commentary on Revelation chapters 10-11, discussing the seventh seal, seven trumpets, the angel with the little book, and the two witnesses. It summarizes that the seventh seal involves silence in heaven followed by divine judgment on Earth. The seven trumpets represent God's punishment throughout history for those opposing his people. An explanatory interlude describes God calling people to him through the remnant and Bible. The little book reveals that prophetic time will cease after 1844. The two witnesses symbolize the Word of God strengthened by his Spirit, persevering despite persecution for 1,260 years.
In the beginning when God created the heaven and the earth, He gave to man a day of rest. He sanctified the seventh day and made it holy. This means that it is set apart or separated from the other days of the week, for the worship and praise of God. It was God our creator, Lord and master, who determined which day that he wanted us to remember and keep holy. No man was ever given the authority to change the law of God or to make the first day of the week the Sabbath.
This document provides information about a learning to prophesy seminar happening that evening from 7-9pm. It begins by defining prophecy as speaking out the mind of God under divine inspiration. It then discusses what prophecy means according to the Bible and dictionaries, including that it involves edifying, exhorting, and comforting people as well as restoring God's image in them. The document emphasizes that prophecy comes from having God at the center of one's heart and being filled with His love, so that His love can then be poured out to others. It concludes by having attendees declare prophecies over each other based on Bible verses provided and encourages reading Isaiah 49:1-3 in preparation for sharing next week.
The document discusses how to pray according to Jesus' teachings in the Lord's Prayer. It covers avoiding hypocritical and vain prayers, the importance of closet praying, fellowship with God rather than babbling, and that God knows our needs. The key aspects of praying the Jesus Way are being authentic pray-ers, communing with God privately through asking for our needs and His restoration.
The document discusses the topic of prayer. It defines prayer as simply talking to God, like talking to a best friend or father. It says prayer can be done alone, with others, for others, in small or large groups, or as a nation. Prayer can occur anywhere, including in a car, bathroom, church, or outside. Jesus taught his followers the Lord's Prayer as a model for how to pray. The document also provides several Bible verses about prayer and its power.
This document discusses what it means to be a servant of God. It begins by looking at Jesus Christ as the ultimate example of servanthood, washing his disciples' feet before his crucifixion. Second, it encourages believers by reminding them that God promises to never leave them and strengthen them. Finally, it notes that serving others enriches our lives spiritually and brings satisfaction, as we are blessed to become a blessing to others. The overall message is that Christians should desire to serve God and others humbly as Jesus did.
The document discusses the divine origin, absolute truth, and sovereign accomplishing power of God's word. It argues that the Bible is inspired directly by God and contains his unfailing truth, as demonstrated through its divine consistency over many authors over centuries. God's word will achieve his purposes as he speaks things into existence and directs history according to his commands and truth contained in scripture.
Lesson 1- God’s Revelation in the Scriptures.pptxZhairaTamayo1
God reveals himself through scripture and sacred history. In the Old Testament, he made covenants with figures like Noah and Abraham and spoke through prophets. The scriptures foretold the coming of the Messiah. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ completes God's revelation by his words, works, death, and resurrection. God continues to reveal himself through the Church and scripture, which guides believers and draws them into relationship with God.
The document summarizes key events in the Book of Exodus from the Bible. It describes how the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt and Moses' early life as an Egyptian prince. God then calls on Moses to lead the Israelites out of slavery. Despite plagues sent by God, the Pharaoh refuses to release them. After the tenth plague kills the firstborn sons of Egypt, the Pharaoh lets the Israelites go. God parts the Red Sea to allow their escape and later gives the Ten Commandments to Moses at Mount Sinai, establishing a covenant with the Israelites.
The document summarizes Jesus' miracles as reported in the Gospels, including turning water into wine, feeding over 5,000 people with just a few loaves of bread and fish, calming a storm, walking on water, raising people from the dead, and curing diseases. It provides more detail on the feeding of the 5,000, noting that Jesus had his disciples make the crowd sit in groups and blessed and broke five loaves and two fish to feed them all. The document asserts that Jesus performed miracles out of compassion to help people rather than to demonstrate his own power, and that faith in healing sometimes contributed to cures.
The Book of Joshua describes the Israelites conquering Canaan under Joshua's leadership after Moses' death. Key events include crossing the Jordan River, marching around Jericho which causes its walls to fall, defeating the Amorite kings who attacked Gibeon, and dividing the land among the tribes. The book emphasizes obeying God and avoiding assimilation into Canaanite culture. Joshua prepares the people to continue without him before he dies at age 110.
The document describes the symbolism and meaning behind various furnishings and objects in the Tabernacle, including the table of showbread, golden candlestick, and altar of incense. It discusses how these point to spiritual truths about Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, worship, and God's provision and refining work. Key ideas include Christ as the bread of life who sustains us, the Holy Spirit's illumination of God's word, and the importance of true worship in spirit and truth through Christ's intercession.
An introduction to a teaching series on the Bible Book of Revelation. Notes are mostly adapted from Gorden Ferguson’s Revelation Series, “Death before Denial”
This is a wonderful healing ministry of Jesus that any of us can do with a little training and practice. Billions of people need this. You could help them! No doctor or scientist could do what a Christian can do to deliver people from demons that make them miserable. What a privilege to imitate Jesus in this ministry of His! The sermon slides are below.
Also, here are some really good video's the Lord led me to on YouTube where a guy confronts demons in people on the street while preaching. He delivers one guy on camera ( The guy spits up a little. sometimes happens when a demon comes out--not too gross).
I recommend you watch these to get a quick overview of what happens when demons feel threatened and when we shine the light of jesus on them to set people free.

A holy convocation held on the 10th day of the 7th month of Tisri.
This is the most solemn day of the year during which we fast & offer prayers to be forgiven for our sins.
To ‘atone’ means to reconcile, to make right and recompense
God commands us to celebrate the atonement each year, which points to the time when Christ will blot away our sins with his blood.
1. The document outlines the timeline of events from the close of probation to the second coming, including the sealing, latter rain, loud cry, and seven last plagues.
2. It explains that the wheat and tares grow together until the close of probation, when the harvest (end of earth's history) separates them permanently.
3. Several quotes are provided about the close of probation being the time of testing when the mark of the beast is enforced and received, and God's people receive the seal.
The document provides an introduction to deliverance ministry, explaining that teaching on demons and deliverance provokes their manifestation. It emphasizes the importance of full surrender to God before engaging in spiritual warfare. It then discusses offensive and defensive spiritual warfare, describing tactics for both. These include asserting authority over demons, breaking agreements with evil spirits, commanding spirits to leave, and persisting until release. The document outlines potential exit routes for demons and signs that deliverance is complete. It stresses the importance of aftercare for the person and teaching them how to maintain their freedom.
Pre Encounter Lesson 9: Purposes of the EncounterRhea Deligero
The document discusses an "encounter weekend" event where individuals can meet with God face-to-face and have their past and present dealt with so they can live meaningfully. It notes Jacob's encounter with God transformed his life. The purposes of an encounter are said to be personal change, spiritual growth, healing, experiencing God personally, and receiving direction from God. It outlines what people can expect like healing and deliverance, and experiencing God powerfully. Potential obstacles and next steps to prepare for an encounter are also outlined.
We must examine ourselves to see the fruit of obedience in our walk with Jesus. To know why this self-examination is so serious, join me in walking thru Jesus' teaching in Luke 8:4-21.

This document contains a daily bible reading plan for January 13th to 18th focusing on Luke 10:38-42. It also includes a quote about the importance of worshipping and spending time with Jesus in order to represent him properly. The reading plan analyzes the story of Mary and Martha, noting that Mary cherished time with Jesus while Martha let distractions take her focus away.
The document discusses humanity's problem of deriving identity from pleasing others and possessions rather than from God. It describes how people try to hide this through nominalism, self-righteousness, and rituals. True repentance involves confessing sin and need for forgiveness and Christ. Jesus' identity is as sovereign Lord, spirit-baptizer, son of God, and sinless savior. For those in Christ, their identity comes from being God's servants, homes of the spirit, and saints in God's sight as his sons and daughters.
The Parable of the Good Samaritan is much more than just telling us to love our neighbor. Listen to this sermon how that parable points us to our need of Jesus for eternal life. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1XL
The story of the pronouncement of the birth of John and of Jesus is a story of a promise fulfilled. Listen to this sermon to find out why is that so and how it is relevant to our life today. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1iC
John the Baptist sends his disciples to ask Jesus, "Are you the One who is to come or shall we look for another?" In our minds, the answer is obvious. But in our hearts, we have a tendency to look for another.
Jesus did not call us to live longer, feel happier, and look better, but to, "Deny your self, take up your cross daily and follow me" (Luke 9:23). http://wp.me/po4gZ-1vW
True discipleship means not merely hearing the Word but listening intently with a heart toward obedience. In this sermon, we will explore three qualities of life that God desires for all followers of Jesus.
Chap. 20 - God Grants Wisdom from AboveDerick Parfan
We make decisions everyday. Some are minor, some are major. Some are good decisions, some are bad. As Christians, how can we ensure that we make wise decisions everyday? What is wisdom anyway? Why do we need it? How can we get it?
Chap. 21 - God Indwells God-Centered WorshipDerick Parfan
The basic human problem is a worship problem. God created us to enjoy and worship him forever. He redeemed us to that same end. Now, that's also the reason why the temple was built during the time of Solomon. Let's look at the significance of that story on how we worship today, especially as a church family. Download audio, notes and other related resources here: http://wp.me/Po4gZ-14N
The law and the temple represent something very important for the Jewish nation - the word of God and the presence of God. The Jews failed to obey the law and therefore draw near to God's presence. But both of these are fulfilled in Jesus. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1jQ
Chap. 19 - God Gives Joy to Kingdom GiversDerick Parfan
The document discusses Christian giving and tithing. It provides statistics that show Christians give a small percentage of their income to the church and Christian causes. For example, only 3-5% of Christians tithe the recommended 10% of their income. The document also states that $1 billion per year could fund completing the Great Commission. It discusses tithing and giving in the Bible and explains that kingdom giving should be generous, grace-driven, and God-glorifying. The document argues that as God owns everything, Christians should be stewards of their resources and use money as a tool for God's kingdom mission.
The document discusses listening to and praying for survivors of Typhoon Yolanda. It references a Bible passage of Herod killing male children in Bethlehem. It then asks "Why?" and discusses how the birth of Jesus tells us that he was sent to a world full of pain, that he shares in our pain, and that he will save us from all our pain. It provides guidance to face pain, feel God's presence in pain, and have hope in God's promises. It concludes by saying Jesus gives the hope of comfort in life's pain.
It is important to learn how to agree with what God says as a child of God! You decide whether to live by facts or Truth. Facts change but the truth remains the same!
By Ps T. N. Makhubu
The document describes four letters related to Paul's correspondence with the Corinthians: (1) A previous letter mentioned in 1 Corinthians 5:9, (2) 1 Corinthians, (3) A severe letter mentioned in 2 Corinthians 2:3-4, and (4) 2 Corinthians. It then provides an outline of the contents of 2 Corinthians, which includes a description of Paul's ministry in chapters 1-7, a discussion of a collection for Christians in Jerusalem in chapters 8-9, and Paul's defense of his apostolic authority and address to a recalcitrant minority in chapters 10-13.
This document provides an overview of the key themes and chapters in the book of 2 Corinthians. It summarizes that Paul addresses problems of individualism, criticism, and materialism that Corinthians were struggling with. However, true strength comes from competence, power, grace, and the cross as provided by God. The overview then lists the main topics covered in each chapter, including suffering, forgiveness, ministry, generosity, discovering truth, and standing firm for Christ.
This document summarizes the overview and main topics of the book of 2 Corinthians presented by teacher David Clayton. It discusses that Paul addresses issues like individualism, criticism, and materialism that can lead to arrogance, but true strength comes from God's competence, power, grace, and the cross, which leads to holiness. The overview then summarizes the 15 main topics covered in 2 Corinthians like making sense of suffering, forgiveness, encouragement in ministry, proclaiming reconciliation, generosity, discovering truth, humility, and standing for Christ.
02 19-12 - the corporate reality of salvation (for web)ryweberg
The document provides 3 exhortations for Christians: [1] Let us draw near to God together with sincere hearts through our access in Christ; [2] Let us hold fast our confession of faith in Him who promised, without wavering; [3] Let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works, encouraging one another as we progress toward our heavenly goal. The invitation to follow Christ is a call to commit to Christian community and unity through fellowship, integrity, and mutual consideration.
Pastors as Brothers: How to Form Gospel-Centered Discipleship and Accountabil...Derick Parfan
This document discusses the importance of Christian accountability and discipleship groups for pastors. It notes that studies have shown pastors who experienced moral failures lacked personal accountability and daily time with God. The document then addresses common objections to accountability groups, citing Bible verses to show why confession of sins to one another and accountability are vital. It explains how such groups can help pastors remain gospel-centered by focusing on praise, confession, understanding the gospel, prayer, and obedience.
The Pastor as Minister: Facing the Unique Challenges of MinistryDerick Parfan
The document discusses a pastor who struggled with suicidal thoughts after slowly shifting his identity from being anchored in the Gospel to being anchored in his success as a messenger of the Gospel. He learned that anchoring one's identity and self-worth in something smaller than God leads to greater pain when it is lost. It provides biblical passages about living for Christ rather than for self. It addresses identity issues in ministry and asks questions to help reflect on signs one's identity is too tied to their ministry calling and how that impacts relationships and what a pastor needs to communicate to their congregation for support.
Pastors as Disciples: Our Ongoing Need of the Grace of God in SanctificationDerick Parfan
This document discusses the ongoing need for pastors and ministry leaders to pursue sanctification and grow as disciples of Jesus. It outlines three theological foundations: 1) Our primary identity is as disciples, not pastors; 2) Sanctification is a lifelong process; 3) Perseverance is crucial for salvation. It encourages pastors to "fight the good fight of faith" through knowing their sins, confessing them, trusting their Savior, and fighting alongside other believers. The document emphasizes that pastors still need God's grace daily and warns against underestimating one's need for Christ and relationships in his body.
Jesus calls us to be doers of his word and not mere listeners. But another mistake - a huge one - we can commit is to think that external obedience will be enough. If we think that way, we are like the Pharisees to whom the Lord issued a very strong condemnation in this passage. Our obedience must be from the inside out.
There are two opposing forces in our world today. As disciples of Jesus, we must take side with Jesus and his kingdom against the kingdom of Satan and this worldly system.
The document discusses the results of a study on the impact of climate change on global wheat production. Researchers found that rising temperatures will significantly reduce wheat yields across different regions of the world by the end of the century. Under a high emissions scenario, the study projects a global average decrease in wheat production of 6% by 2050, and a 17% decrease by 2100, threatening global food security.
Only the merciful and powerful touch of Jesus can free us from our slavery to sin, cleanse us from all impurities, and cause our hearts to reach out in love to others.
Part 6 - Grace and Power (Luke 4:14-44)Derick Parfan
What is the mission of Jesus? Is it preaching the Word of God or performing miracles? Listen to this sermon to find out and reflect on the significance of Jesus' mission priority for the church's mission today. You can listen to this sermon here: http://wp.me/po4gZ-1kP
Is the story of Jesus' battle against Satan's temptations telling us that we should be like Jesus in how we respond to temptations? In a way, yes. But I believe it's much more than that. Jesus was not just giving us an example to follow here. He is actually telling us that there's good news here for all of us who failed over and over again. You can listen and download this sermon here: http://wp.me/po4gZ-1kz
The story of the birth of Jesus is truly a story of great joy. Listen to this sermon to find out why and how you can also have that greater joy. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1jE

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
