The Miracle of Mercy - Part 3 - God's Mercy & My FailuresLifePointe Church
This message is Part 3 of the series “The Miracle Of Mercy” by Pastor Chuck Bernal. In this message Pastor Chuck talks about “God’s Mercy & Our Failures”.
Our God is a God of second chances and fresh starts. The truth is WE HAVE ALL FAILED in some way, at some time in some context - and we ALL need God's mercy to move past our past. Some of us are still weighed down by our failure(s) and we need to be set free once and for all. Here's the good news, you do not have to be defined, defeated or destroyed by your failure - all because our God is a God of MERCY. Your name is not FAILURE - because of Jesus, your name is FORGIVEN!
In this message, Pastor Chuck talk about Peter’s colossal failure on the night before Jesus was crucified and how in spite of what he did, he found forgiveness and a renewed purpose for his life. And so can you. So, don’t quit, and don’t give up, even when you’ve experienced failure. Instead, allow God to use failure to move you forward.
This message was delivered at LifePointe Church on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
Jesus spoke the words "It is finished" just before dying on the cross. The document explores what exactly Jesus finished through his death. It argues that through his sinless life and sacrificial death, Jesus definitively brought salvation to all people, making us righteous before God. By grace through faith, everyone can access this salvation that Jesus completed and receive eternal life.
We were all born as sinners due to Adam's actions, but through Jesus's death we can be freed from sin's control. When we accept Jesus as our Lord, we are liberated from our sinful nature because we died with Christ on the cross and our old sinful selves have been put off. As Christians, we must reckon that we are dead to sin through faith in Christ so that we no longer have to be enslaved by sin, though we can still choose to sin.
This message is Part 5 of the series “The Miracle Of Mercy” by Pastor Chuck Bernal. In this message Pastor Chuck talks about “Messy To Mercy”.
Did you know that whatever wrong things you have done or whatever mistakes you have made - God wants to show you MERCY and give you a fresh start. NO ONE is too far gone from GRACE. No one is too far away for FORGIVENESS In this message, Pastor Chuck shares with us how we can move from MESSY to MERCY. Using Luke 15 and the stories Jesus told about a lost sheep, a lost coin and a lost son and how each of those teach us how important and valuable lost people are to God and how we can find our way back to our Father.

The document provides three steps to solving puzzles: 1) Patience, 2) Logic, and 3) Faith. It defines each step, with patience being the first step to a solution. Logic is then defined as using reasoning to draw conclusions, referencing Sudoku rules. Faith is the final step, referencing biblical verses that define faith as having assurance of things unseen and having faith in God's promises.
The document summarizes how the authors of the New Testament approached and used the book of Deuteronomy as an authoritative source. It provides several examples of how Jesus and others like Paul and Peter quoted Deuteronomy to prove doctrines and ideas. Some key points made include that Jesus used Deuteronomy to reject Satan's temptations, that all are equal before God as stated in Deuteronomy, and that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of a coming prophet like Moses as mentioned in Deuteronomy. The document advocates studying how different parts of the Bible shed light on each other to gain a fuller understanding of Scripture.

Key points include: 1) Jesus offers rest because he is one with God; 2) To find rest, we must feel the need for it and bring our burdens to Jesus; 3) Christ's yoke makes burdens easier to carry as we submit to his will. The yoke represents submitting to God's law of liberty rather than heavy burdens of works or slavery. With Christ's strength, his yoke is light.
The Miracle Of Mercy - Part 8 - Being An Agent Of Mercy To A Lost & Dying WorldLifePointe Church
Are you looking for a cause bigger than yourself? Do you want to have lasting influence and help people? God is calling all of us to do just that. He desires for everyone to have the opportunity to accept his mercy. We are part of that plan as agents of mercy. The world can be a mean place, but we can influence others by showing mercy. In this message Pastor Chuck Bernal continues his series "The Miracle Of Mercy" with a powerful message about how you can be an agent of mercy to a lost and dying world. In this message, you will learn how to apply the principles of mercy to your daily habits and exercise mercy to change people’s lives. This message was delivered at LifePointe Church in Crowley, TX on November 6, 2016.
This training session covers evangelism and establishing new churches. It teaches the separation of man from God due to sin, how Jesus died on the cross to pay for sins, and rose from the dead. It emphasizes choosing to have faith in Jesus to be forgiven and have eternal life in heaven, or rejecting Jesus and suffering eternal punishment in hell. The session instructs believers to love God, pray constantly, study the Bible daily, meet with other Christians, and tell others about Jesus.
The Miracle of Mercy - Part 2 - God Can Use Anybody!LifePointe Church
This message is Part 2 of the series “The Miracle Of Mercy” by Pastor Chuck Bernal. In this message Pastor Chuck talks about the backstory of the life of Paul the Apostle and how, in spite of his past, God showed him mercy and was able to use him to do great things. With that in mind, he shared 5 principles showing how God can use us as well. This message was delivered at LifePointe Church on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
This document discusses passages from the Bible about resurrection and eternal life. It references Jesus telling Martha "I am the resurrection and the life" and that believers will live even after death. It also quotes passages from Corinthians about believers receiving resurrection bodies in heaven that will never need to be replaced or relocated. The document conveys that the Holy Spirit gives believers a taste of heaven to prevent them from settling for less than what is to come in the afterlife.
Sermon by Mike Smith
As the apostle Paul shows, we must center our focus on living before the God of all creation in such a way as to be sure that we do so in the ways which please Him rather than mankind.
We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10).
This document discusses the importance of seeking God first in various ways throughout different periods of time. It recommends seeking God early in the day, worshipping Him on the first day of the week, tithing on the first of the month, and praying and fasting on the first of the year. The passages encourage making God the top priority in life and in regular spiritual disciplines like prayer, worship, giving, and fasting.
Series relationship rescue - part 1 - s = support - 04-12-15 - prersentationLifePointe Church
The is the first message in the series "Relationship Rescue" and discusses the importance of giving SUPPORT to the people in our lives. Pastor Chuck Bernal shares three practical principles about HOW we need to support each other.
This document provides a summary of Lesson 12 from a series on "The origins". It discusses the results of sin in Adam and the divine solution found in Christ. Key points include: 1) Judgment and death entered the world through Adam's sin, but grace and new life come through Christ; 2) God responded to Adam and Eve's sin with investigation and by prophesying the victory over sin through the descendant of the woman; 3) Christ's death on the cross serves as the substitute sacrifice that reconciles humanity to God. The lesson examines themes of sin, redemption, and new creation in Christ.
Why christmas matters power point slidesAlbert Soto
God chooses to actively involve himself in the world by sending Jesus, who understands human struggles. Jesus humbled himself by becoming human and dying on the cross so that humans can be free from sin. The reason for Christmas is that Jesus came to die so that believers can have everlasting life through faith in him as the savior.
The document uses the metaphor of a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly to illustrate the Bible verse about being made into a new creation through faith in Christ. It describes how a caterpillar spins a cocoon and emerges as a beautiful butterfly, just as those who invite Jesus into their hearts are transformed from their old selves into new creations through God's miraculous power. The key message is that accepting Christ makes one into a renewed person just as a caterpillar is reborn as a butterfly.
The document discusses the nature of the Holy Spirit based on passages from the Bible. It argues that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, not just a force or power, based on several points:
1) Jesus described the Holy Spirit as another comforter like himself, implying the Spirit is a person of the same kind.
2) The Bible attributes personal characteristics to the Holy Spirit like having a will, making intercessions, speaking, and being grieved.
3) Seeing the Holy Spirit as a person rather than a power emphasizes our relationship with Him and allows Him to transform us more fully according to God's plans.
This document discusses finding one's "sweet spot" in ministry by using one's God-given talents, passion, training, experiences and skills to serve the Lord fully. It encourages viewing one's job not just as work for a human boss but as a mission and stewardship from God, obeying earthly masters with sincerity and reverence for the Lord. The ultimate goal is not worldly gain but avoiding the forfeiture of one's soul by serving Christ in every aspect of one's life.
God journeys with His people constantly with love, mercy and providence. Jesus' words from the Gospel will not pass away. God fulfills all promises and prophecies in His time. We have the same Creator God, Savior Son and Advocate Spirit from the beginning as the one Triune God. There is no time or situation where God is not with us. We should pray, have faith and accept God's graces, no matter our circumstances. God always journeys with us.
This document discusses using recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to generate text, specifically novels. It provides an overview of RNNs and how they were trained on small datasets of text to generate new text in the style of the source material. The results showed that after millions of iterations, the RNN-generated text began to resemble the source text in terms of vocabulary, grammar and flow, but was not identical. Other examples discussed include using RNNs trained on Wikipedia text, the Bible, and Obama's speeches.
The document discusses relationships and how Christ restored our friendship with God through his death and life. It references several Bible verses from Romans chapter 5 that describe how God showed his love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. The document also discusses an account from Luke chapter 8 where Jesus heals a woman who touched his robe in a crowd and restored a young girl back to life.
All Christians are "sent-out" by the Lord Jesus Christ to be on mission with him to bring the gospel to wherever God is leading us. We need to work together for this. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1Ux
There are two opposing forces in our world today. As disciples of Jesus, we must take side with Jesus and his kingdom against the kingdom of Satan and this worldly system.

True discipleship means not merely hearing the Word but listening intently with a heart toward obedience. In this sermon, we will explore three qualities of life that God desires for all followers of Jesus.
Chap. 37 - God Sends Jesus the Redeemer-KingDerick Parfan
The document discusses the lineage of Jesus Christ tracing back to King David and Abraham, fulfilling God's promised king. It reveals Jesus as both man and God, the redeemer and king. His coming brings great joy and calls people to worship him, as that is why humanity exists - to worship Jesus, who threatens humanity's attempts to place itself on the throne.
Chap. 21 - God Indwells God-Centered WorshipDerick Parfan
The basic human problem is a worship problem. God created us to enjoy and worship him forever. He redeemed us to that same end. Now, that's also the reason why the temple was built during the time of Solomon. Let's look at the significance of that story on how we worship today, especially as a church family. Download audio, notes and other related resources here: http://wp.me/Po4gZ-14N
Chap. 20 - God Grants Wisdom from AboveDerick Parfan
We make decisions everyday. Some are minor, some are major. Some are good decisions, some are bad. As Christians, how can we ensure that we make wise decisions everyday? What is wisdom anyway? Why do we need it? How can we get it?
The law and the temple represent something very important for the Jewish nation - the word of God and the presence of God. The Jews failed to obey the law and therefore draw near to God's presence. But both of these are fulfilled in Jesus. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1jQ
The story of the birth of Jesus is truly a story of great joy. Listen to this sermon to find out why and how you can also have that greater joy. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1jE
Part 6 - Grace and Power (Luke 4:14-44)Derick Parfan
What is the mission of Jesus? Is it preaching the Word of God or performing miracles? Listen to this sermon to find out and reflect on the significance of Jesus' mission priority for the church's mission today. You can listen to this sermon here: http://wp.me/po4gZ-1kP
Chap. 19 - God Gives Joy to Kingdom GiversDerick Parfan
The document discusses Christian giving and tithing. It provides statistics that show Christians give a small percentage of their income to the church and Christian causes. For example, only 3-5% of Christians tithe the recommended 10% of their income. The document also states that $1 billion per year could fund completing the Great Commission. It discusses tithing and giving in the Bible and explains that kingdom giving should be generous, grace-driven, and God-glorifying. The document argues that as God owns everything, Christians should be stewards of their resources and use money as a tool for God's kingdom mission.
The document discusses listening to and praying for survivors of Typhoon Yolanda. It references a Bible passage of Herod killing male children in Bethlehem. It then asks "Why?" and discusses how the birth of Jesus tells us that he was sent to a world full of pain, that he shares in our pain, and that he will save us from all our pain. It provides guidance to face pain, feel God's presence in pain, and have hope in God's promises. It concludes by saying Jesus gives the hope of comfort in life's pain.
John the Baptist sends his disciples to ask Jesus, "Are you the One who is to come or shall we look for another?" In our minds, the answer is obvious. But in our hearts, we have a tendency to look for another.
Gentleness and meekness are fruits of the spirit. Meekness is being angry at the right time and for the right reasons, demonstrating strength of character through gentleness rather than weakness. It involves humbly receiving injuries with patience and without vengeance. Jesus exemplified meekness through his actions and teachings, as did Moses and Paul. A meek person feels wrongs done against them but responds with pity rather than anger or revenge, committing themselves to God.
The Deadly Duo of Burdens: Guilt and Grief - Rob Ferry 5-29-16DenverCoC
So far in our series we have looked laying down the burdens of a lesser God, self-reliance, want (envy), weariness, and worry. Today we tackle the deadly duo of burdens: Guilt and Grief. Only God is able to provide relief from these burdens. Join us today in Psalm 23:3-4 to learn how to lighten your load and start living your life again.
This message is Part 1 of the series “The Miracle Of Mercy” by Pastor Chuck Bernal. In this message Pastor Chuck defines the Biblical concept of mercy and how mercy describes the character of God more than anything else. He then shares the 3 reasons why we all need mercy and how we can receive it. The message was delivered at LifePointe Church on Sunday, September 18, 2016.
This document discusses passages from the Bible that relate to the identity of Jesus Christ and refutes aspects of Jehovah's Witness doctrine. It analyzes verses from Mark, Malachi, Zechariah, and elsewhere that describe a messenger who will prepare the way for God. The document argues these passages refer to John the Baptist preparing the way for Jesus, showing Jesus to be God in the flesh. It asserts Zechariah 12:10 identifies the pierced one as Jesus, contradicting a Jehovah's Witness translation. Overall, the document aims to prove from Scripture that Jesus is fully God and not a separate, lesser deity as Jehovah's Witnesses believe.
The document discusses several biblical stories of people being resurrected from the dead, such as Jairus' daughter and Lazarus. It explores whether people are mortal or immortal, and whether the soul dies or is immortal. Several biblical passages are presented that indicate humans were created from dust and will return to dust after death, such as Genesis 2:7 and 3:19. The document argues that the dead know nothing based on passages like Ecclesiastes 9:5, and that people will be rewarded at the resurrection rather than at death. Spiritualism and the idea that the dead contact the living are addressed.
The document examines evidence from science, history, archaeology, and the testimony of Jesus Christ to argue that the Bible can be trusted. It notes that scientific claims in the Bible have been confirmed, that archaeological findings have supported the Bible without refuting it, and that Jesus himself affirmed the divine authority of the Bible and claimed to be the Son of God through supernatural acts. The document concludes that if Jesus is the Son of God, and he said the Bible is the Word of God, then the Bible can be trusted as the Word of God.
The document discusses evidence that the Bible can be trusted as the word of God. It summarizes testimony from science, history, archaeology, prophecies, miracles, and Jesus that confirms the reliability and divine origin of the Bible. It also examines how Jesus claimed to be God by his words and actions, such as accepting worship due only to God.
This document contains a summary of a lesson on the physical and spiritual rest that Jesus offers. It discusses the various Sabbaths and Jubilees in the Bible that provided physical rest, and explains that spiritual rest involves communion with Jesus, forgiveness of sin, and liberation from burdens. It contrasts the rest believers find in Jesus versus the unrest of the ungodly. The document then summarizes a parable about a sower and different types of soil, and explains how the devil tries to counteract the gospel being planted in people's hearts.
This document provides a summary and commentary on chapter 15 and part of chapter 16 of an unknown biblical text. It discusses various passages and verses, explaining their meaning and context. The key points covered include Jesus rebuking religious traditions, the sign of Jonah being a reference to resurrection, explanations of parables and miracles, and arguing against the Roman Catholic interpretation of Peter as the first pope and foundation of the church.
The document discusses Jesus' authority as depicted in various passages from the book of Luke. It describes how Jesus had authority to interpret scripture, teach with authority, cast out demons, forgive sins, and have authority over death and nature. It then summarizes the key teachings and themes from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount as recorded in Luke, including the beatitudes, rewards in heaven, warnings, love for others, non-judgment of others, identifying true believers by their fruit, and the importance of embracing and living out God's message. The document concludes by discussing Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan and how it depicts Jesus' mission to save and help all people.
Here meet the fourth of six entities accounted for in the final two chapters of John's Revelation. Truth to tell, Revelation merely hints at Israel's end-times story, for it is, after all, a book written to/for the churches. The full story of the Jews in the 70th Week traces an arc of suffering that begins with seeming peace and safety and ends with God's people seemingly on the brink of extinction. Nevertheless, as Paul says here and there: "But God . . . ! How God steps in to rescue and preserve His chosen people and how He turns their hearts to His Son as their Messiah should thrill every Christian. Gives me goosebumps!
The document discusses evidence for the reliability and authenticity of the New Testament writings, including:
- Manuscript evidence showing over 24,000 copies in Greek, Latin, and other languages, far more than other ancient works, with the earliest copies dating to within 20-50 years of the originals.
- The New Testament books were written by eyewitnesses between 40-80 AD, within the lifetimes of those who saw Jesus or knew his disciples.
- Early church fathers quoted from and referenced most New Testament books within 30-60 years of being written.
The Miracle of Mercy - Part 6 - From Misery To MercyLifePointe Church
This message is Part 6 of the series “The Miracle Of Mercy” by Pastor Chuck Bernal. In this message Pastor Chuck talks about how we can help people move “From Misery To Mercy”.
One of the most important things we can do as Christians is to pass on the mercy we have received from God to others, especially in tangible acts of kindness and compassion. Mercy is unearned kindness - literally "LOVE IN ACTION". Using the story of The Good Samaritan, Pastor Chuck talks about why and how we should show tangible kindness to others and how we can help to move people "From Misery To Mercy".
This message was delivered at LifePointe Church on Sunday, October 23, 2016
Jesus of Nazareth claimed to be God in both his words and actions. The document examines evidence from the historical record that Jesus exhibited divine attributes like omniscience, omnipotence, and eternality. It describes instances where Jesus demonstrated knowledge of future and private events, performed miracles that showed power over nature and disease, and made statements implying he was the eternal God. The document argues Jesus' life fulfills prophecies about God and that he directly claimed equality with God, providing biblical quotes to support its view that Jesus is the one true God.
140712 eng got fruit series (part 8 - kindness & goodness) by faith yeoeaglepointcf
The document discusses kindness and goodness. It notes that kindness is about our attitude while goodness is about our actions towards others. Several Bible verses are presented that discuss God's kindness and love for humanity. Christians are called to clothe themselves with qualities like mercy, kindness, humility and patience as chosen by God. They are to reflect Christ's nature in how they treat others, including showing compassion to neighbors in need as seen in the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Choosing God's nature and counting on his strength enables Christians to live this way.
The unforgiveable sin mark 3 - 22-30 - feb 17, 2013John Smith
The document is a summary and analysis of Mark 3:22-30 from the Bible about Jesus responding to accusations that he casts out demons by the power of Satan. It contains 3 main points:
1) Jesus calmly responds to the vicious accusation from scribes with reasoned responses showing how Satan cannot cast out Satan.
2) He issues a stern warning that all sins can be forgiven except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, the eternal sin of attributing the Holy Spirit's work to Satan.
3) The takeaway encourages anyone worried about this sin that their worry shows they have not committed it, and urges coming to Christ for forgiveness of all sins.
This chapter summary discusses John 17, which contains Jesus' prayer for himself, the apostles, and future believers. It also discusses various positions of prayer and emphasizes that the position of the heart is most important, not the body's position. The document then summarizes each verse of John 17, highlighting Jesus' prayer for unity among believers and for protection from the evil world. It also analyzes some of the lessons that can be learned from Peter's denial of Jesus.
1. The document discusses whether Jesus was sent to be crucified based on passages from the Bible. It argues that Jesus prayed strongly to God to "let this cup pass" from him, indicating he did not want to die, and God answered Jesus' prayer by saving him from death.
2. It also argues that Jesus prophesied he would be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights, but he was only there for one day and two nights, so the prophecy was not fulfilled.
3. Several Bible passages are cited stating one is responsible for their own sins and forgiveness comes through repentance and obedience to God, not sacrifice, so Jesus dying for others' sins is unjust and

Pastors as Brothers: How to Form Gospel-Centered Discipleship and Accountabil...Derick Parfan
This document discusses the importance of Christian accountability and discipleship groups for pastors. It notes that studies have shown pastors who experienced moral failures lacked personal accountability and daily time with God. The document then addresses common objections to accountability groups, citing Bible verses to show why confession of sins to one another and accountability are vital. It explains how such groups can help pastors remain gospel-centered by focusing on praise, confession, understanding the gospel, prayer, and obedience.
The Pastor as Minister: Facing the Unique Challenges of MinistryDerick Parfan
The document discusses a pastor who struggled with suicidal thoughts after slowly shifting his identity from being anchored in the Gospel to being anchored in his success as a messenger of the Gospel. He learned that anchoring one's identity and self-worth in something smaller than God leads to greater pain when it is lost. It provides biblical passages about living for Christ rather than for self. It addresses identity issues in ministry and asks questions to help reflect on signs one's identity is too tied to their ministry calling and how that impacts relationships and what a pastor needs to communicate to their congregation for support.
Pastors as Disciples: Our Ongoing Need of the Grace of God in SanctificationDerick Parfan
This document discusses the ongoing need for pastors and ministry leaders to pursue sanctification and grow as disciples of Jesus. It outlines three theological foundations: 1) Our primary identity is as disciples, not pastors; 2) Sanctification is a lifelong process; 3) Perseverance is crucial for salvation. It encourages pastors to "fight the good fight of faith" through knowing their sins, confessing them, trusting their Savior, and fighting alongside other believers. The document emphasizes that pastors still need God's grace daily and warns against underestimating one's need for Christ and relationships in his body.
Jesus calls us to be doers of his word and not mere listeners. But another mistake - a huge one - we can commit is to think that external obedience will be enough. If we think that way, we are like the Pharisees to whom the Lord issued a very strong condemnation in this passage. Our obedience must be from the inside out.
This document contains a daily bible reading plan for January 13th to 18th focusing on Luke 10:38-42. It also includes a quote about the importance of worshipping and spending time with Jesus in order to represent him properly. The reading plan analyzes the story of Mary and Martha, noting that Mary cherished time with Jesus while Martha let distractions take her focus away.
We must examine ourselves to see the fruit of obedience in our walk with Jesus. To know why this self-examination is so serious, join me in walking thru Jesus' teaching in Luke 8:4-21.
The document discusses the results of a study on the impact of climate change on global wheat production. Researchers found that rising temperatures will significantly reduce wheat yields across different regions of the world by the end of the century. Under a high emissions scenario, the study projects a global average decrease in wheat production of 6% by 2050, and a 17% decrease by 2100, threatening global food security.
Only the merciful and powerful touch of Jesus can free us from our slavery to sin, cleanse us from all impurities, and cause our hearts to reach out in love to others.
Is the story of Jesus' battle against Satan's temptations telling us that we should be like Jesus in how we respond to temptations? In a way, yes. But I believe it's much more than that. Jesus was not just giving us an example to follow here. He is actually telling us that there's good news here for all of us who failed over and over again. You can listen and download this sermon here: http://wp.me/po4gZ-1kz
The document discusses humanity's problem of deriving identity from pleasing others and possessions rather than from God. It describes how people try to hide this through nominalism, self-righteousness, and rituals. True repentance involves confessing sin and need for forgiveness and Christ. Jesus' identity is as sovereign Lord, spirit-baptizer, son of God, and sinless savior. For those in Christ, their identity comes from being God's servants, homes of the spirit, and saints in God's sight as his sons and daughters.
The story of the pronouncement of the birth of John and of Jesus is a story of a promise fulfilled. Listen to this sermon to find out why is that so and how it is relevant to our life today. http://wp.me/po4gZ-1iC

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

17. “Eternal life”
• “Deep in the soul of every
human being is a longing
for transcendence created
within us by God Himself.”
(James MacDonald)
• “God has made everything
beautiful for its own time.
He has planted eternity in
the human heart” (Ecc.
3:11 NLT).
19. 1. “I know what is right.”
"What is written in the
Law? How do you read
it?" (v. 26 ESV).

And he answered, "You

as yourself" (v. 27 ESV).

Knowing what is

You have to do it.

Jesus is really good
