To earn the Peer Assisted Learning Leicester Award, students must complete a portfolio and presentation assessing their Peer Assisted Learning leadership activities. The portfolio requires evidence of at least 20 hours of Peer Assisted Learning leadership activities, a completed skills audit, and a 1500-2000 word reflective assignment or blog. Students must also give a 10 minute presentation demonstrating how the skills developed through Peer Assisted Learning leadership are relevant to future employment, followed by 5 minutes of questions. Students must achieve a pass in each assessment component to receive the award.
