RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
2015- Present Research Assistant: Promoting PLACE in Rural Schools, (2014-2019).
PI: Dr. Carolyn Callahan, Co-PI: Dr. Amy Azano
Collaborative five-year grant (1.9 million dollars) to the University of Virginia and
Virginia Tech awarded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Jacob Javits grant
program. Conducted cognitive interviews, assisted with instrument design, conducted
professional development workshops, revised curriculum to include place based
instructional strategies for gifted students in rural educational settings.
