and projected employment. Individualized career
counseling can link majors to career paths.
Experience - Seek part-time work, obtain internships or volunteer within the fields you are considering.

Engage - Search for openings. Network with family, friends, and professional contacts. Construct and submit
resumes, cover letters and portfolios. Prepare for your interviews through practice. Receive resume critiques prior

A large part of the work involved with my position at Iowa Wesleyan College deals with the presentation of
marketable information about various academic, professional and organizational programs available.
Cohesively designing various templates that are flexible for the range of information is the main challenge. While
maintaining a visually appealing presentation that accomplish the piece as an informational resource - is a constant
concern for my clients. While several publications have flexibility and can find themselves completely redesigned,
others maintain the same overall properties and gain only minor updates.
Above are highlights from updated tri-fold brochures to a simplified flier format. This template displays a mailing
panel on the backside, allowing the items to be folded in half and mailed at a standard First Class Postage rate.
