Activity campus website-college catalog
This document provides information and instructions for a student to complete an activity using their campus website and college catalog. The activity has the student:
1) Find various information on the campus website such as events, degree programs, and student organizations.
2) Use the academic calendar to find withdrawal dates and holidays.
3) Use the college catalog to identify scholarship/loan options, required courses for their major, and definitions of academic terms.
4) Visit various campus resources and identify services available at each like the bookstore, library, career services, and more.
The activity has the student familiarize themselves with important resources and terminology to help them succeed at their college.
What you don't know will hurt you: designing with and for existing content
Are you trying to make responsive design scale for a complex site? Building an app, but your organization doesn't have an API yet? If so, you've probably got legacy content—content that already exists, and that doesn't fit neatly into your new project.
What do you do? You could ignore it and end up with one of those responsive homepages that devolve into big content blobs after just one tap, or a one-off mobile site that no one can remember to maintain. You could put it off until it becomes the bane of your existence: the thing that "breaks" your design, because it's way messier than you’ve planned for.
Or, you could deal with it. If you take the time to make existing content work for you—by understanding what you've got, identifying patterns and relationships in its structure, and cutting the cruft along the way—you'll end up with a system that will not just support your content, but _enhance_ its meaning, message, and power.
College Report
This document is a form for transfer applicants currently enrolled in college courses to provide information about their ongoing coursework and progress. It requests the applicant list current courses, credit hours, and estimated grades. A school official must sign to verify the accuracy of the information. Upon completion of the current term, a final transcript must be sent to the University of Tennessee Office of Admissions for review to allow for an early admission decision.
Change of level
This form is for requesting a change of level (e.g. from an English language program to an undergraduate degree program) at Virginia Commonwealth University. The student must provide their personal information, SEVIS number, and intended change of level. Their current advisor must confirm when the student will complete their current program of study and sign the form. The student must also provide evidence of sufficient financial support through personal funds, departmental funding, or governmental funding to cover estimated annual expenses, which range from $29,893 to $31,724 plus $5,000 per dependent.

2012 Application for the Summer High School Research Program
The American Cancer Society offers a summer research program for high school juniors to introduce them to scientific research, specifically cancer research, and promote careers in cancer research fields. Students will work in a cancer research lab at a university for 8 weeks on an independent project, attend lectures one day a week, and present their results. Selected students will receive a $2,000 stipend.
