This document provides information about the Professional Advancement Certificate in Gerontology program. The program is designed for professionals who work with or care for older adults, and aims to increase knowledge about issues related to population aging. It consists of two semesters of evening and occasional Saturday classes taught by researchers and practitioners. Topics covered include physiological, sociological, and psychological aspects of aging, as well as Medicare, Alzheimer's, and end-of-life issues. The program is offered in Colorado Springs for $460 per semester and in Westminster for $495 per semester.
