- #4 This is an accredited course and such approval by the IBMS is seen as one of the quality indicators for the course.The school of pharmacy runs the MPharm programme as well as the biomedical science BSc and staff across the school are drawn from many areas of professional practice and thus their professional experience and expertise feds into the teaching experiences and practices students will experience here.
- #5 Traditionally built around a training programme for hospital laboratory scientists, course has been developed extensively over the last 20 years and now prepares students for a wide variety of post graduate careers options. Having its roots in hospital laboratory medicine means tat it is focussed on provided a foundation in theory that underpins, disease processes, diagnostics and treatments.
