The document compares the performance of pagodabox, heroku, and a dedicated Sakura server by pinging each server and reporting the round-trip times. Pagodabox had an average round-trip time of 151ms, heroku was slower at 266ms on average, and the dedicated Sakura server was the fastest at 15ms on average.
