Our school, vickys team 2021

George lanthimos
George Lanthimos is a Greek film director born in Athens. He studied directing at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School in Athens. Throughout the 1990s, he directed videos for Greek dance companies. Since 1995, he has directed many TV commercials as well as music videos, short films, and plays. He was also part of the creative team that designed the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2004 Athens Olympics. Some of his notable films include Dogtooth (2009) which won several awards including Best Director at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards, and The Lobster (2015) which won the Jury Prize at Cannes.
Dimitris sgouros
Dimitris Sgouros was born in Athens, Greece in 1969 and began playing the piano at a young age, giving his first public performance at age seven. He won several piano competitions between 1978-1983, including in Bulgaria, Italy, and Athens, and received the 1982 Leonardo Da Vinci International Award. Before turning 13, Sgouros graduated from the Conservatory with highest honors and distinctions. He has recorded for major labels and performed in festivals around the world.
Eugene tribizas
Eugene Tribizas is a Greek sociologist and children's book writer born in 1946 in Athens. He received his law degree from the University of Athens in 1969 and has had a long career as a barrister. Tribizas wrote many popular children's stories and was a finalist for the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2006 for his lasting contributions to children's literature. Most recently, he won a world prize for his latest e-book last month, cementing his status as one of Greece's most celebrated writers for young readers.

Eugenia Fakinou was born in 1945 in Alexandria and grew up in Athens. She studied graphic arts, puppet theatre and tour guiding and worked as a graphic artist for magazines for several years. Eugenia Fakinou was the wife of reporter and writer Michalis Fakinou.

like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
