4. We learnt that Belgenny Farm was an
important farm in Australia's history. It
helped to develop farming in Australia.
5. It was owned by John and
Elizabeth MacArthur.
Pleas tap the barn!
6. We learnt how to make butter by using a butter
churn. The cream came from the cows on the
farm. The handle is turned on the churn until it is
thick and yellow. We got to eat the butter we
had made on fresh bread.
Please tap the butter
churn!
7. We decided to take what we had learned about our
history and show how dairy products are taken
from dairy cows, milked by hand, then separated
using a milk separator. The cream was put in a
butter churn and turned into butter.
8. We have had fun painting
the mural about Belgenny
Farm.
9. In HSIE, we have been learning
about important landmarks in
Australia. They reflect the
country we live in and have an
impact on our lives.
10. Please tap the cows!
We painted the landmarks we had been studying onto
the sides of our cows. We now have a herd of beautiful
cows.
