2. The following flags were made by pupils from 8AA and 8EP They are made from coloured paper and are based on the Asafo Fante Flags of Ghana. Pupils were asked to include their names, flags from their own family’s culture(s) as well as a birth-sign of the zodiac, a house or flat number, and an animal to symbolize a character or personal trait.
3. The resulting designs are very lively, colourful and impressive. Pupils were also encouraged to add a decorative border if they had time to do so. Each flag is the result of several weeks of drawing, planning, designing, cutting out and sticking to make.
