3. WORKPERMIT
Work permit system provides systematic method of risk assessment, hazards
Identification, and precautions to be taken during carrying job or before job.
The work permit is issued by Operation persons( Issuer) such as Shift In-
Charge, Engineer, or other competent person and Acceptor ( Executor) is the
person who carries out the work. Usually acceptor is service department like
Maintenance, Electrical, Instrumentation etc. Before preparing work permit,
Issuer and acceptor make risk assessment i.e hazard identification, precautions
taken before starting work and during work. After Risk Assessment, work
permit is classified on the basis of hazard involving in the work, type of work
etc.

4. ToolBoxTalk
Toolbox talks are quick, simple, and easy to understand safety discussions
conducted before shift starts at the jobsite. Also known as safety briefings, pre-
start, or take 5 safety talks, a toolbox talk is ideally conversational in tone and
takes about 5-10 minutes of engaging workers to discuss their awareness of
health and safety risks associated with their tasks. An effective toolbox talk
helps promote a culture of safety in the workplace and facilitates a sharing of
knowledge and safety best practices among workers.

mock drill ” is a scenario in which participants practise how they would react in
the event of a disaster or emergency. For the sake of safety, mock drills are
held in schools, colleges, hospitals, apartments, industries, and organisations
around the world.

PTW
Authorization
LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) is the physical restraint of all hazardous energy
sources that supply power to a piece of equipment, machinery or system. LOTO
also includes applying a Warning Tag on the physical restraint device. This
documents the Authorized LOTO personnel and the date. LOTO operations
must be done on all equipment, machinery or system Shut Downs before
Authorized Personnel can perform repairs or service.

management system procedure used
to ensure that work is done safely and
efficiently. It involves procedure
request, review, authorization,
documenting and, most importantly,
de-conflicting of tasks to be carried out
by front line workers.

8. Technical
&
Safety
Records
The Technical Records includes information from manufacturers, vendors, regulatory
agencies, and others. Technical records can have complex criteria to define which
assets they affect. The Technical Records (CM) application tracks the following
information:
• Identifying details
• Affected asset
• Maintenance plans, which include preventive maintenance (PM)
records and job plans for implementing work requirements
• Status or method of compliance of each affected asset
• Related technical records
Health and Safety is keeping records of
any incidents, procedures, and staff
training. Any Health and Safety records
created must be kept, safely stored,
and securely destroyed when no
longer needed. It’s important these
records are kept for legislative reasons
and to demonstrate the correct safety
procedures and processes within an
organization
