The Ontario Regiment has served Canada for over 150 years, beginning as colonial militia in the 1860s and participating in conflicts such as the Fenian Raids, South African War, World Wars I and II, and peacekeeping missions. It has evolved from infantry to tanks and now serves as a reserve armoured reconnaissance regiment. The Ontario Regiment Museum maintains the history of the regiment through its collection of over 80 operational armored vehicles and holds monthly "Tank Saturday" events.
