Online advertising revenue stabilized in the third quarter of 2009 after falling for the previous two quarters. The total online advertising revenue for Google, Yahoo, AOL and Microsoft was $8 billion, with Google's revenue increasing by $400 million. While Google benefited more from search advertising, overall online advertising revenues stopped declining sequentially and saw annual growth compared to the third quarter of 2008.
