This document discusses approximation algorithms for interference-aware broadcast scheduling in wireless sensor networks. It proposes both centralized and localized approximation algorithms for broadcast scheduling in 2D and 3D sensor networks. The algorithms account for sensors having different transmission ranges and interference ranges that are larger than transmission ranges. The centralized algorithms run in O(1) time while the localized algorithms allow for distributed scheduling without a central controller in O(1) time. Experimental results evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms.
