The document describes a bedside patient monitoring system that measures temperature data using a portable medical monitoring unit. ABSTRACT
In this project, we propose a medical monitoring system for temperature data. The portable
medical monitoring unit consists of microcontroller with the embedded operating system, a
custom sensor board, and information processing system which realizes information
management, real-time analysis, a warning mechanism for emergency and diagnosis.
From the medical monitoring unit patient’s temperature data is taken and given to the ADC.
ADC converts this analog data into digital format and sends to the controller, controller will
process this data and whenever threshold value exceeds than buzzer sound is provided for
indication purpose.
