ENGAGE • Identifies existing student and staff needs and provides imaginative and engaging mechanisms to address, explore, provide for, or alleviate those needs • Creates links that facilitate either short-term, or sustainable relationships with local, national, or international arts communities and organizations • Provides opportunities for students or staff to enhance their own learning through demonstrable creative engagement and creative thinking

ENHANCE • Builds on existing activity within PTIS THREE-GENERATION via utilizing the arts in a new, innovative, or valuable way • Uses the arts to link classroom activity and the curriculum with the surrounding, campus environment • Uses the arts to develop cross-curricular and interdepartmental working, or the creative delivery of traditional ’academic’ subjects • Seeks to obtain external funding for either short term, or long-term, sustainable creative projects

ENLIVEN • Provides a platform for music, art, performance or cross-artform working, that makes use of public areas of the PTIS campus • Uses the arts in a context that encourages more public engagement with the PTIS campus • Creates activity that is likely to leave a legacy, or foster and encourage independent, autonomous creative engagement by our young people

  13. 13. Being able to meet real artists and ask them about their work, has given me insight and understanding that simply isn't available on the internet. Through working with artists in the 3rd space project, I was able to learn things about composition and presentation that influenced my approach to my final DP Exhibition.
