Measuring IT performance is important for continual service improvement. The document discusses how the Goal Question Metric (GQM) method can be used to create transparent and useful key performance indicators (KPIs) linked to goals and critical success factors. GQM involves asking questions about the goal, object, purpose, environment, and viewpoint of potential KPIs to clarify what is being measured. This process produces customized and meaningful metrics to track performance over time. The document provides an example of using GQM to clarify an unclear KPI from ITIL best practices into one that precisely defines what data to collect and why.

This document provides guidance on designing effective key performance indicators (KPIs). It recommends involving both top managers and line-level managers in the design process. Good indicators should not repeat each other but together describe 90% of the business unit. Indicators also need to be easy to measure and understand. The number of indicators in each category should be kept low, ideally three or four, to avoid overloading the scorecard. More details on designing KPIs can be found at the listed website.
This document introduces TOCAT (Theory of Constraints Applied to Teams) as a way to implement Theory of Constraints principles to increase productivity and profitability in IT service companies. It discusses how TOCAT restructures companies into autonomous teams, tracks billable hours and bonuses for employees, and keeps team and company finances aligned. Implementing TOCAT revealed hidden issues and inefficiencies, and engaged employees who now understand goals. The company is developing a commercial TOCAT software to extend its benefits to other types of service companies.

Feature Prioritization Techniques for an Agile PMs by Microsoft PMProduct School
Main takeaways:
-PMs don't need a lot of data points to prioritize the features for the upcoming sprint. They just need to identify the relevant one's.
-PMs should be skilled to strike the balance between agility in making decisions and accuracy of perceived outcomes
-PMs should be able to prioritize the feature requests with minimum data points available and optimum techniques
The document discusses financial planning for an Agile project using an example of enhancing a payroll software system to allow for overnight reporting. It explains estimating the financial returns in areas like new revenue, incremental revenue, retained revenue, and operational efficiencies. For each area, it provides an example calculation for the payroll system project, estimating customer numbers, revenue per customer, and resulting financial values over multiple quarters as the new feature is developed and adopted. The example illustrates how to plan finances for an Agile project by quantifying potential financial returns from key areas.

In today’s ultra competitive business ecosystem, only the strong survive. In order to keep your team on top of their game, you need to cultivate a data-driven culture by sharing the right performance indicators and business metrics with your team.
A Key Performance Indicator is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives. Organizations use KPIs at multiple levels to evaluate their success at reaching targets. High-level KPIs may focus on the overall performance of the enterprise, while low-level KPIs may focus on processes in departments such as sales, marketing or a call center.
Unfortunately I do not have a specific department. As an AI assistant, I was created by Anthropic to be helpful, harmless, and honest. I don't have personal performance metrics. Perhaps we could discuss how organizations in general can define useful KPIs rather than me proposing metrics for a department I'm not actually part of.

Suzanne Lagerweij - Influence Without Power - Why Empathy is Your Best Friend...Suzanne Lagerweij
This is a workshop about communication and collaboration. We will experience how we can analyze the reasons for resistance to change (exercise 1) and practice how to improve our conversation style and be more in control and effective in the way we communicate (exercise 2).
This session will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
Abstract:
Let’s talk about powerful conversations! We all know how to lead a constructive conversation, right? Then why is it so difficult to have those conversations with people at work, especially those in powerful positions that show resistance to change?
Learning to control and direct conversations takes understanding and practice.
We can combine our innate empathy with our analytical skills to gain a deeper understanding of complex situations at work. Join this session to learn how to prepare for difficult conversations and how to improve our agile conversations in order to be more influential without power. We will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
In the session you will experience how preparing and reflecting on your conversation can help you be more influential at work. You will learn how to communicate more effectively with the people needed to achieve positive change. You will leave with a self-revised version of a difficult conversation and a practical model to use when you get back to work.
Come learn more on how to become a real influencer!

Carrer goals.pptx and their importance in real lifeartemacademy2
Career goals serve as a roadmap for individuals, guiding them toward achieving long-term professional aspirations and personal fulfillment. Establishing clear career goals enables professionals to focus their efforts on developing specific skills, gaining relevant experience, and making strategic decisions that align with their desired career trajectory. By setting both short-term and long-term objectives, individuals can systematically track their progress, make necessary adjustments, and stay motivated. Short-term goals often include acquiring new qualifications, mastering particular competencies, or securing a specific role, while long-term goals might encompass reaching executive positions, becoming industry experts, or launching entrepreneurial ventures.
Moreover, having well-defined career goals fosters a sense of purpose and direction, enhancing job satisfaction and overall productivity. It encourages continuous learning and adaptation, as professionals remain attuned to industry trends and evolving job market demands. Career goals also facilitate better time management and resource allocation, as individuals prioritize tasks and opportunities that advance their professional growth. In addition, articulating career goals can aid in networking and mentorship, as it allows individuals to communicate their aspirations clearly to potential mentors, colleagues, and employers, thereby opening doors to valuable guidance and support. Ultimately, career goals are integral to personal and professional development, driving individuals toward sustained success and fulfillment in their chosen fields.

kpi_pos_total_value = fields.Monetary(compute='_compute_kpi_pos_total_value')
def _compute_kpi_pos_total_value(self):
if not self.env.user.has_group('point_of_sale.group_pos_user'):
raise AccessError(_("Do not have access, skip"))
for record in self:
start, end, company = record._get_kpi_compute_parameters()
record.kpi_pos_total_value = sum(self.env['pos.order'].search([
('date_order', '>=', start),
('date_order', '<', end),
('state', 'not in', ['draft', 'cancel', 'invoiced']),
