• What is the ODL? The ODL is a Collaborative Space
that captures the design-based research process
followed in Learning Layers.
• Is the space where are shared the main results of the
systematic study of designing, developing and
evaluating Learning Layers interventions and solutions.
• Starting from the complex problems in Health Care
(and Construction) practices and scaling to other
clusters.

• Aim of the ODL: Make research open to professional scrutiny and
critique by people outside the project. Facilitate the exchange of
feedback, collaboration and sharing between researchers (internal -
learning layers) and external professionals (e.g. designers, students,
companies…) and end-users (e.g. construction/health workers) in
order to iterate and scale the design solutions from Learning Layers
• Goals of the Table
• Presentation
• Exploration
• Discussion and questions

TASK: Propose a set of categories to
organize the ODL design outcomes

• How would this fit into your working practice?
• What more would you want from it?
• Would you use it?
• Are you aware of (or do you use) any tools that already cover this area?
Developers
• Do you have a tool that already covers this area/functionality? If so then please
demo or describe to the table.
• What could you add to this idea – how could it interact with your existing or
planned tools?
• Would you find this tool useful to your own development plans? How could you see
it being used?
