I am writing this recommendation for Ankur Patel to anyone considering him for either a full-time or a
consulting position in their Organization. Ankur is working under my supervision since September 2014 in
the capacity of a senior SQL Server Database Administrator.
Ankur is a hard-working self-starter who invariably understands exactly what a project is all about from the
outset and how to get it done quickly and effectively. He manages his time and schedule well. He has
always completed his tasks on time or ahead of schedule. He has put in the extra effort when required to
meet team deliverables. During his tenure he has never missed a deadline. He will raise the standard of
what you look for and hope to find in an employee.
On the interpersonal side, he possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. He gets along
extremely well with colleagues both horizontally and vertically. He is highly respected both as a person and
a professional by colleagues and Managers alike

Co-ordinate with the database administration team and come up with possible solutions.
Executes daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks, monitoring application performance,
backups to disks, replication and data restore, creating logins and granting role based permissions,
support procedures of supported SQL based infrastructure systems.
Test and co-ordinate modifications and upgrades to the assigned systems when needed, and
troubleshoot problems as they occur.
Implement, integrate and maintain the database jobs on servers.
Work within fast pace and collaborative team environment and interact with staff across
disciplines.
Display a high degree of inquisitiveness and an eagerness to learn at detailed and abstract level.
