The One Book-One Lincoln program is a community reading program sponsored by Lincoln City Libraries that encourages adults to read and discuss the same book. For its 9th year in 2010, readers can vote online or in person for their favorite among five finalists to be the selected book. The finalists are The Elegance of the Hedgehog, Finding Nouf, "I Am a Man", Loving Frank, and The Tortilla Curtain. Votes will be accepted from June 1-July 31 and the winning title will be announced in September.

3. Since 2002, the program encourages all adults in Lincoln and Lancaster County to read and discuss the same book at the same time.

6. A committee of library & community members spent several months reading, discussing, and evaluating nominated titles.

7. Five finalists were announced to the public during a May 31st live event at The Mill in the Haymarket.

8. Votes may be submitted from June 1–July 31 .

13. Loving Frank: A Novelby Nancy Horan Fact and fiction blend in a historical novel that chronicles the relationship between seminal architect Frank Lloyd Wright and Mamah Borthwick Cheney, and their clandestine affair that shocked Chicago society. (Ballantine, 2007)

14. The Tortilla Curtainby T. C. Boyle The lives of two different couples --wealthy liberals Delaney and Kyra Mossbacher, and Cándido and América Rincón, a pair of Mexican illegals--suddenly collide in Southern California’s Topanga Canyon, in a story that unfolds from the shifting viewpoints of the various characters. 18. Book Club in a Bag contains 10 copies of a single title, plus starter discussion questions.
