1. Install and configure OBIEE 12c
2. Run migration tool on 11g to extract repository, catalog and user
roles to single migration file.

• Upgrade to 12c supported from 11.1.1.7 and 11.1.1.9
• Before upgrading to 12c, make sure 11g catalog is upgraded(set
<UpgradeAndExit> tag to true in instanceconfig.xml).
• Copy the OBIEE 12c migration tool from your 12c installation to your
11g installation and launch tool
