Competition!
What is the main propose of an engineer and why are they needed in today's society? How can a simple engineer shape the
way we use technology in our everyday life?
At the Kinetic Energy event, we can show an interesting side of the engineering field to all aspiring engineers and non-engineers
that are interested in our field.
Students will be showcasing a mechanism that will harvest mechanical energy and store it back into the grid. This prototype will
use a new type of alternator consisting of non-traditional materials/methods (PCB board replacing copper wiring.)
This an event that is open to everyone and we especially encourage non-engineering students and those that have yet to decide
on a program for College or University.
