Sputtering yield and nanopattern formation study of BNSiO2 (Borosil) at eleva...Dr. Basanta Kumar Parida
Lower sputtering yield of the discharge wall material is a crucial parameter for the performance of Hall Effect Thruster (HET) [1, 2]. In this article, we report the sputtering yield of HET wall
material BNSiO2 (borosil) at elevated temperature ~600 °C using quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). We observe a linear increase in the sputtering yield with temperature and it remains stable during long duration experiments using Xe ions. Two different crystallographic orientations of borosil give a
slight variation in the yield. The higher yields for higher operating temperatures is proposed to be due to the thermal spike nature. Microscopic surface morphology shows only different grains of BNSiO2, however high resolution nanoscopic view reveals the formation of nanoripple like structures over different grains [3]. The periodicity of such features increases with ion dose (sputtering time) and temperature in the range of 70-190 nm. Local curvature dependent erosion plays crucial role in such pattern formation [4].

Low energy ion beam nanopatterning of CoxSi1-x Surfaces -Thesis Defense seminarDr. Basanta Kumar Parida
The document summarizes a defense seminar presentation on low energy ion beam nanopatterning of CoxSi1-x surfaces. It discusses various topics related to ion beam nanopatterning including experimental aspects, the effect of ion energy and fluence on morphology, the influence of ion species and incidence angle, and theoretical modeling. It provides details on the deposition of CoxSi1-x films, the ion irradiation experimental setup using different ion sources, and characterization techniques. Morphological transitions from ripples to dots are observed with increasing ion energy or decreasing fluence. Ion species and incidence angle are also found to influence pattern morphology.
The document summarizes research on ion beam nanostructuring of CoxSi1-x binary surfaces and the role of stoichiometry and sample swinging. It discusses (1) how the initial stoichiometry affects pattern evolution, with ripples forming within a narrow stoichiometric window, (2) how substrate swinging introduces anisotropic surface modification and lateral mass transport, affecting morphology. Future work is proposed to better understand mobility effects, silicide formation roles, and potential magnetic and electrical applications of patterned binary surfaces.
Particle physics is the branch of physics that studies subatomic particles and their interactions. By 1932, the four known elementary particles were the electron, proton, photon, and neutron. Elementary particles are the fundamental building blocks of the universe and have well-documented properties including mass, charge, spin, and lifetime. Some particles decay into others of smaller mass through weak interactions. Quarks are elementary particles that combine to form composite hadrons like protons and neutrons, and have properties like charge, mass, and six flavors including up, down, strange, charm, bottom, and top. Strangeness is a quantum number denoting the presence of a strange quark and is conserved in strong and electromagnetic interactions.
The document discusses electrolytic processes and smelting used in aluminum production. Bauxite ore is first mined and processed through crushing, milling, and the Bayer process to produce alumina. The alumina is then smelted using the Hall-Heroult process where aluminum ions are reduced at the cathode using an electrolytic cell with carbon anodes and molten cryolite as the electrolyte. Heat over 900°C is required for the electrolytic reduction to produce liquid aluminum and oxygen gas. Images and videos show various stages of the aluminum production process.
The document discusses electrolytic processes and smelting. It describes how electrolysis uses DC current to drive non-spontaneous chemical reactions. Smelting involves extracting metals from ores using heat and chemical reducing agents to remove oxygen and produce the pure elemental metal. Specifically, aluminum smelting converts bauxite into alumina using the Bayer process, then uses the Hall-Heroult process to electrolytically reduce alumina at high temperatures into liquid aluminum using carbon anodes and aluminum cathodes in a molten electrolyte bath.
1) Ion beam irradiation was used to nanopattern a Co-Si binary mixture, producing nanoripples that transitioned to mounds at higher fluence. Swinging the substrate during irradiation led to the formation of cauliflower-like structures.
2) Current-voltage measurements on the patterns showed diode-like behavior. Resistance increased with pattern ordering and decreased with larger macro roughness at higher fluence.
3) Swinging speed was found to have an optimum value that roughened the surface more than no swinging or very slow/fast swinging, due to anisotropic mass transport induced by the swinging motion.

Heart has learnt the lessons of love
Dil Parh Gaya Pattiyan Ishq Diyan, Aey Hourr Kitaban Key Janay
Heart has learnt the lessons of love, it doesn’t know any other books.
4. Oday Boul Sunna Ya Quran Sunna, Hour Harf Pakkawa Kiss Weyle
should I hear beloved's words or I hear verses of the holy Quran, when should I
memorize other words
Dil Mehv Mahi Di Yaad Andar, Oonhu Bhula Tay Kafir Ho Jawa
Heart is remembering beloved, if I forgets him I may be called cheater
Meh-e-Ishq Di Masti Uttar Di Nai, Shara Jaam Uthawa Kiss Weyle
Beloved’s love is intoxication; when should I drink holy water
Aey Rafeeq Deyhaan Wich Rub We Nai, Buss Yaar Dilla Wich Wasda Aeey
O Rafeeq.!! I don't have god even in my mind, only the beloved stays in my heart
Mei Rug Rug Yaar Da Naam Juppay, Tasbhi Hilawa Kiss Weyle
My every nerve is chanting beloved’s name, when shall I chant using bead
It is not possible to praise the beauty of beloved.
aafriin aafriin
O the most beautiful one!

Even if you see my beloved, you would also say
aafriin aafriin

The story of the tresses of beloved is also long
tresses are like shadows on my heart
tresses are like over-cast clouds
tresses like some black spectre
when tresses are entangled, so also is the world
when tresses are straight, then writing this song becomes easy
when tresses spread apart then black night downs
when tresses sway then the night sings
tresses are chains, but so beautiful

Then the angels said secretly to the Prophet
that of all the creations, only he was truth-like.

Thank you very much for posting the meaning of this amazing recitation….I have
been hearing this song for ages but did not quiet understand everything but now
with the meaning available I have a new appreciation for this qawwali……it
really blows my mind how somebody could write such beautiful verses for the
10. Almighty and then top it off by singing it soo amazingly…..thanks a lot…..please
keep up the good work…..
Shaheen Sultan Dhanji November 9, 2007 at 8:09 pm
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was and remains an intense singer….Vibrant on stage and
each of his qawaali’s transcends the height of all emotions! Allah hoo was
rendered so passionately, and the words are just ‘absolute’. Whenever I hear it,
takes me to another world, where everything is sublimly beautiful. I love the way
Nusrat blends his qawaali and the ocatves are sharp…..great raaga’s too!
Wow!!!!!

You did an amazing job, keep up the great work you are doing. Not to be rude or
anything but there are a few things that need to be corrected if you dont mind. Just
typing errors.
I hope you consider the following:
Why did the son of Haider drank the cup of annihilation?
Why did Tabrez get skinned alive?
What did Mansoor say on the gallows?
After making all these toys, you remained the same.
pahuNche meraaj meN arsh tak Mustafaa
jab na maabuud-o-bande meN pardaa rahaa
tab malaaik ne Hazrat se chhup kar kahaa
saarii maKhluuq meN haq-numaa tuu hii tuu
11. the third verse its not chup kar kaha, its jhuk kar kahaa (bow)
The angels bowed to the Prophet and said
If you dont mind brother, There are a few verses of other songs that i would like
to add on to. Inshallah as soon as i get your approval.
Salam
imran November 27, 2007 at 8:16 am

pahuNche meraaj meN arsh tak Mustafaa
jab na maabuud-o-bande meN pardaa rahaa
tab malaaik ne Hazrat se chhup kar kahaa
saarii maKhluuq meN haq-numaa tuu hii tuu
in third line of it is
tab malaaik ne Hazrat se jhuk kar kahaa

Nusratji sing the perfect song with a perfect voice , Allaho , Allahoo,
Allahooo, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, There is nothing before & after Allahoo,, its real we must
recognise our creator than the creation , it is real the others are fake,,,,,,,
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is called as the King of Kavvali this is because what he
choose to sing the others cannot sing like this wave length,,,,,,,

There is a live recording of Allah Hoo I’ve been looking for for years. It opens
with what sounds like a mandolin solo and then I think there is a guitar in the
back but it’s still with the tablas, harmonium and the traditional sound. Someone
told me it was a recorded concert he did in France. I must have hundreds of his
recordings but that one I don’t have and it’s an excellent version!….any help
would be greatly appreciated.

maalikul mulk laa shariikaa lahuu
vaahdahuu laa ilaaha illaa huu
Shams Tabrez gar Khudaa talaabii
khusbuukhaaN laa ilaa illa huu
—–
Backgrounder: Allah has no “shareek” or equal, is one (wahid, Vahad) and not of
parts. “Laa” means without or sans. So “laa ilaaha ilaa hu” means no god but God.
“Hu” is an article meaning “is”.
Shams Tabrez is the patron saint of Sufis, also the teacher of the more well known
Rumi, lived in the 13th century in Turkey, Iran, also travelled to Pakistan. The
verse is referring to the “khuda talabi” or God-seeking of Shams. Khushbukhwaan
is a spreader of “khusboo” or essence or flowers, and that is none other than the
One God.
Rakesh September 15, 2010 at 3:23 pm
17. Couldyou please translate the first 4 lines:
“maalikul mulk……illa huu”
and the next 4 lines:
“Kaunain….hai tuu”
You have included 4 lines in English after the above stanzas. To which 4 lines in
original do they refer? Please translate the remaining 4 (i.e. not translated by the 4
lines of English which follow after 8 lines of poetry). Thank you. Allah Hu is one
my favourites and I want to understand each word properly.
