RESEARCH OF THE
DIFFERENT NURSERY
RESEARCH DATA: -
• SAMPLE SIZE: -TOTAL 20 NURSERY ARE TAKEN INTO THE
CONSIDERATION IN CONTEXT OF COVERING ALL THE OBJECTIVES.
• RESEARCH METHOD:- WE INDIVIDUALLY WENT TO EACH AND
EVERY NURSERY AND PERSONALLY QUESTIONED THEM WHICH
COVERS ALL THE POINTS FROM START-UP TO CREATING PROFIT.
FINDINGS
1) SINCE HOW MANY YEARS YOU HAD STARTED THE NURSERY?
ANSWER:- AS PER THE OBSERVATION AND QUESTIONS DISCUSS WITH THE NURSERY
OWNER IT WAS FOUND THAT ON AN AVERAGE THEY HAD THEIR NURSERY START-UP OR
BUSINESS MODE SINCE LAST 5 TO 6 YEARS. THE AVERAGE IS TAKEN AS FOR THE BASIC
CONSIDERATION OF THE DATA.
2) WHAT WERE THE FACTORS AFFECTED BEFORE THE START UP?
ANSWER: - SO FAR, DISCUSSING ABOUT THE FACTORS WE CAME TO SOME CERTAIN
REASONS WHICH HAD A MAJOR IMPACT ON THE START-UP PLAN FOR NURSERY. SOME OF
THE FACTORS ARE LISTED BELOW:
LOCATION AREA OF LAND CAPITAL COMPETITION
ENVIRONMENT TRANSPORT MAINTENANCE
3) WHAT WAS THE CAPITAL INVESTED DURING START-UP?
ANSWER: - ON AN AVERAGE, FROM THE DATA COLLECTED, IT WAS ESTIMATED THAT
FOR STARTING THE NURSERY THEY NEED AT LEAST RS.3,00,000 AS IT INCLUDES
COST OF PLANTS, TRANSPORTATION, MAINTENANCE, AND MANY MORE.
4) WHAT WAS THE MODE OF GETTING CAPITAL?
ANSWER: - THE MODE OF GETTING CAPITAL WAS MAINLY TAKEN FROM BANK,
FAMILY, FRIENDS OR PERSONAL SAVINGS.
5) WHAT ARE THE EXPENSES ENGAGED IN IT?
ANSWER: - THE EXPENSES WERE RENT OF LAND PLANTS MAINTENANCE
ELECTRICITY TRANSPORTATION LABOUR
6) WHAT ARE YOUR INCOME/ REVENUE?
ANSWER: - THE AVERAGE INCOME OF NURSERY WAS OBSERVED RS 10, 00,000 PER
ANNUM BUT IT VARIES ON THE BASIS OF AREA, PLANT, AND OTHER FACILITIES.
7) WHAT IS THE PROFIT EARNED DURING THIS TENURE?
ANSWER: - THE ESTIMATED PROFIT IS RS 3, 00,000
8) WHAT ARE THE FACTORS AFFECTED AFTER THE START UP?
ANSWER: - THE FACTORS AFFECTED WERE MAINTENANCE COMPETITORS
ATMOSPHERE

CONCLUSION
• TO DRAW CURTAINS, WE WOULD LIKE TO CONCLUDE THAT PLANT NURSERIES ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF
ANY LANDSCAPE DESIGN BUSINESS.
• THEY PROVIDE A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN SEE PLANTS AND LEARN ABOUT THEM BEFORE BUYING THEM
FOR THEIR HOMES OR GARDENS.
• IN THIS CASE WE HAVE SEARCHED ABOUT THE FACTORS AFFECTED BEFORE AND AFTER THE STARTING
NURSERY.
• FURTHER, WE HAD SEARCHED THAT HOW THEY MAINTAIN THE NURSERY AND MANAGE THE EXPENSES.
• THEN THEY HAD SHARED THEIR PROFIT DETAILS WITH US.
• AS GOVERNMENT DEVELOPS THE GOVERNMENT NURSERY IN ORGANISED BUSINESS PLAN IN THE SAME THEY
NEED TO DEVELOP THIS UNORGANISED NURSERY TOO.
• OVERALL, JUST BEING UNORGANISED THEY STILL MANAGE TO HAVE HANDSOME OF PROFIT IN THEIR HAND
AT THE END OF THE YEAR.
THANK YOU
