prepping of patients (IV’s, medications, skin prep, etc.) as they go into surgery
as well as final post Recovery Room care and review of discharge instructions
for those going home.
• My role in Preadmission Testing for the Surgery Department includes
interviewing patients, ordering necessary tests and instructing patient on diet and
medications in the days prior to surgery.
• I functioned as an EPIC Super User and Department Liaison with Anesthesia
Services during our transition to use of an Electronic Health Record.
